1st thing how on earth would it be safer using a 192t over a 200t ???

good call, you'll end up buying one anyway after a couple of weeks struggling with the 192.

I use my 192 every day for everything pruning or take downs just be sensible and move onto a bigger saw when needed. One more thing since i have been using the 192 my wrists are not hurting as much.

He said 192 (rear handle) was safer NOT 192t.

Do you use a 192 or do YOU mean 192t???

Stihl themselves don't class the 192T as a pro saw, which is why it is not marketed in the UK.

It may be ok for amateurs to wield a topper in Johnny Foreigner land, but it's simply not done over here, Old Boy......

Looked at one in France this year. Was tempted (price), but it was clearly built with some of the same components they use on the kiddies saw with the ball bearing chain.:001_tongue:

just as reliable as a 192 i would think... as the 192 is a cheaper-plasic clam-shell design, not a mag crankcased pro saw like the ms200/t...

the 192 is a dog to work on as well, more fiddly=more time/cash for a tech to do even relatively simple jobs.

there is a shiny 200t in the classifieds section...

Been looking for the 200t in the trading place, can't find it, am I being thick:blushing:
