Hi all nick the newbie here,

Hope everyone is well!

Within the tree surgeon and grounds man job, do you have say a method statement or something that would be used to say how a particular job would be done?

In pest control we use method statements, but like all jobs it flexible to accommodate the job you are doing.

Do you guys have such a systems? If you do could you point me to we're I may read such information.

Secondly I've noticed on videos and companies sell PPE you wear boots, helmets and trousers, with the appropriate chain saw status, but this may seem daft question what do you wear for the top part of your body?

Cheers Nick

Well I am glad I don't have to be bare chested ! Subject to weather and if I am lucky to climb a tree I will wear t-shirt or sweat shirt.

As for the rain think I'd wear my waterproof range jacket .

Cheers

You can get cut proof jackets or cut proof sleeves.

Personally id say both are pretty much redundant though i know of some company worksites that insit on type c trousers and cut proof sleeves all year round.

That would be cut resistant. No manufacturer will say cut proof
