Gloves

Probably asked a million times.. but what gloves are people using for climbing?

 

I've had a pair of ARBORTEC gloves for about 40 hours use and they're ruined.

 

Pretty disappointed.

 

Anything lasting a while or are they all like butter?

Skin is the best glove but if you have to try red pfanner ones

Theyre all pretty rubbish,as above red pfanners are decent or the orange gripz if its wet.

In dry warmer months bare hands,got to build up those callouses

It's a personal thing, I can only get on with leather "rancher" style with the elasticated wrist. cost 15 or so euros a pop. get a couple of weeks out of them if I'm lucky.

Trial and Error really. With thick grippy gloves cut the Tipps off.

Red pfanners for me. You can get cheaper grippy gloves but they don't tend to last so well. Not just the wear but regards holding their shape. I've found the cheaper ones stretch out and end up just sort of hanging to your hands
