Stump grinder versus German tank shells.

The shell on the right looks like a German pak 40 75 mm anti tank round, the shell on the left looks a little bigger in diameter in the photo and with two drive bands looks like a he shell.

They were both pretty much the same, although one had more muck on it, I wasn't going to start inspecting them too hard. When I carried them down the garden, there was a sudden exodus by the customers and the neighbours.

I'm sure 70 year old shells ain't as dangerous as people like to make out..

 

all the chemicals must of deteriorated in all those years...

 

Its like that peter Kay Joke about the swans, has anyone ever seen a broken arm..

 

Still, fascinating story none the less...

Is there any subject that you aren't an opinionated pillock about? Why are you sure that 70 year old shells aren't dangerous?

I've just realised that I've fallen into your trap. You just want people to react to your silly statements.
