Hi all just curious as to what hitch you all prefer to use when Lowering off limbs and the main trunk I use a running bowline accompanied with a half hitch for backup and sometimes I'll just get a sling wrap it around the trunk and connect the rigging line to it with a karibiner!

Same here Steve I know it's frowned upon lol but we're all guilty of it Iv never had a log or branch slip yet from just using a karibiner but when I know things are getting heavier I ensure what's tied is tied!
