346xp still available?

I was talking to a customer the other day who was contemplating a 550xp but really loved his 346. I mentioned that I think the trio brake version is still available in France. Just out of interest does anyone know if they still are, or where else you could pick one up from?

Hi I just asked a chainsaw nut I work with in Germany he says they might be available outside the Eu not sure if that's any help

i saw them on a few french garden machinary sites a little while back but i guess one would have to ring to confirm.

they are still produced but not for any eu market due to emissions laws. Much older saws are still produced for places with poor quality fuel such as brazil, south Africa ect

Thanks for the replies and info. I used a 346 a good few years ago and thought it was brilliant, a lot better than the ms260 we had.
