I think if the OP posted his address WW3 would break out with local log sellers going mental after their product has been criticised.

I doubt it. Apart from Mark no one as admitted selling dodgy logs. And I don't think many will.

First the OP was in Essex now he's asking to see websites in Hertfordshire. He could be close to the border mind.

If he's anywhere near Saffron Walden I can recommend someone.

It's all too cloak and daggers for me.

I am in Essex ( and have been for past 30 years )

Reason I said Hertfordshire, because we are near enough to its border and technically London as well , I think enough clues there so you can work out roughly where approximate area is

Guessing you meant " wind up " , I certainly am not " wined up " !

Well, perhaps a little in the evenings :001_tongue:

Wow

After all my posts ( because I really have nothing better to do with my time ) , conspiracy theory continues !

There is no conspiracy.

Just tell people the name of your nearest town so that someone may be able to sell you some properly seasoned/correct measurement logs.

Although I doubt that many logs suppliers on here would bother with you now.

That is very reassuring ...

Oh sure, " customer from hell " , right ?

You tell us you've been 'had away' for twenty years by many different log suppliers.

Why don't you ask your neighbours, friend, associates where they get thier logs from.

And, yes many would see you as a customer from hell.

People have tried to help, but like me old man used to say 'ya can't help those who won't help them self'.
