It's just a word, probably meaning crown reduction.

Unfurl the twisted knickers gents.

No its a half heard term.

Some numb nut hears someone with knowledge discussing "crown lifting" or "crown reduction" or even in the old days "crown thinning", but later can only recall the term "crown" so they use it in an effort to sound like they have a clue :001_rolleyes:

Nonsense, the more idiots, hackers, gardeners with ropes and ladders the better.

Lowers the bar, makes the better equipped, more experienced amongst us look like the A Team.

They'll always be low rent firms in the business because it's an easy buck at the low end.

That's a different take on it I suppose Mick.

I make good money doing a bit of 'crollarding' after pension day.

HI and thanks for reading

we have recently updated our webpage for tree surgeon in Edinburgh with stock images from "thinkstock" and "adobe"

these images can be found at

tree crowning

tree felling

tree pruning

tree pollarding

tree stump removal

and was wondering if any one else has used stock images for the tree surgeon services?

Eh? Whit?

Why would you not show images of your own work on your website...

I think it all hinges on your market. The market being, people with not a lot of money and a PITA tree to sort out up to the wealthy rich types who think everyone is out to rip them off so there is no way they are being more than the lowest quote available.

The less people pulling all the nice jobs out of the industry while driving their cab, putting out fires and in general doing something unrelated to tree work in their 'spare' time the better.
