Some people don't help themselves. A lad in the village is a tree surgeon and he blocks his chipper in with his truck, then blocks the truck in with his van.

 

The thing is there is a bit of waste ground next to where the chipper is stored, it would be so easy to lift a fence panel and push the chipper out backwards.

 

It wouldn't surprise me if it went missing this way.

 

Thieves are scum, but it's what they do for a living!

Not to rub salt to anyone's wound but I'd agree. It's often when we've become a bit complacent that you seem to get hit. You got to clear the van out every night, you have to put the wheel clamps on every time, you have to lock it back in the container when not in use.
