Hiya

I have washed in a pillow case and not in pilliow case the ropes will tangle less in Pillow case but depends how mucky they are as if you put it in pillow case you wont get as good as clean but angain if you tie ip up so to reduce knots again not complete clean. if i want a good clean i put in no pillow case and it come out lovely anf clean just soend 5 mins unravelling it at end lol BUT HERE IS THE MAIN ISSUE NOT A HOT WASH , AND KEEP EYE ON WASHER WHEN SPIN CYCLE COMES ON LOL

Daisy chain the rope rather than the pillow case. Then you get no tangles. You can fold it half first to which makes it a bit less soul destroying lol. Wash it on cold with a natural detergent and then dont go mad with the spin. Should come out spangley.

Hi all, can I wash my ropes in a washing machine ? My ropes are disgusting. Cords too are solid with sap and sawdust. I've heard in a pillow case? Anyone done it. Cheers

Don't use detergent. Hot water and tumbling about will clean it well enough.
