credit to you for wanting to follow in your families traditions, so many younger guys get fed up with the graft and by the time they can drive just want to go and find some excitement..your family must be very encouraging, they are lucky to have you to pass their skills onto, they must be very proud:thumbup1:

I love the way these little old tractors can really skid out some big sticks with seemingly little effort!

yeah little old tractors are much better than fancy modern ones imo, less to go wrong

 

hand throttles and independent brakes are the key and a good operator, some of the places i have seen these old tractors go when i was young would terrify the toughest big 4x4 these days

Low rear tyre pressures and getting the draught right, so the front wheels are just brushing the surface, mean you get excellent grip, good manouverability using the foot brakes and you don't excessively chew up the ground. :001_smile:
