I really, really hate the drama queens who bleat on about how "dangerous" our work is!!, it a choice, if you don't like it fine piss off and do something different. How many accountants die for diabetes or a heart attack?

 

IMO our job has more health benefits than negatives :thumbup1:

Sorry lads, I should have qualified my statement with 'or any job', the end result is the same.

A few seem to have missed that point.

Life's too short to do things you don't like.

I like doing tree work.

And I like doing things I like.

Agreed.

 

I've been in the odd pub in my time and known a few landlords.

 

Nearly all of them suffer health problems from a various issues due to overwork and financial worries (not forgetting drink issues of course)

 

I reckon pub management is one of the most life shortening jobs there is.
