Pole Chainsaw

4 mix engine Mick , it runs on two stroke but is basically a 4 stroke engine with valves, the valves have a tendency to break if not serviced according to my old dealer and they should be adjusted every so many hours but there is no timer.. I guess if you have them serviced by a Stihl dealer every 6 months they should last.

Fark!

No biggy really, I've got a 4mix backpack blower and a combi tool they seem pretty good tbh.

My lr hedge cutters and saw are both 4 mix and have been good but I just don't like the vibs and a lot of people do have trouble with them, just over complicated for no real need.

Agreed, prolly an émissions thing.

My 2 stroke 130 has always been a bitch to idle and will cut out intermittently.

I was going to get the husky, but the shop was closed for stock taking and I needed the purchase to go on this year's books, so I drove down the road and got the Stihl.

Impulsive? Moi?

Well . had it for a long time . Standard Husky motor that fits all the hedge cutters and stuff . 25cc or 30cc I think . 2 stroke . Two piece red fiber glass pole . Lo pro chain . will tale a 16" bar for that extra little bit of reach . Never let me down other than the starter pawls broke once . Having said that it gets very little use BUT when you do need it it is the bollox .
