The stihl 131 is 4stroke? I've just ordered one to replace the 15 year old 130.

 

I specifically asked the bloke if it was a 4mix and he said it was 2 stroke.

What? 4 mix or 2 stroke? The stihl website doesn't specify (which makes me think it's an old fashion 2 stroke)

Thanks so far, our 4 mix stuff Inc pole hedge cutter has been good but I don't like the torquey vibs on them and the noise is no better than a 2 stroke I fact I find it more annoying. Any long reach husky users?

No biggy really, I've got a 4mix backpack blower and a combi tool they seem pretty good tbh.

Unless there different for different markets Mick, my 101 is a 4mix and the 131 on fr jones is stated as 4 mix.
