For the small firm very light for size compared to others. Reasonable price compared to others.

 

Easy to repair simpler design. Does the job just fine.

i like the look of eds chipper best of both british and american desighns ....german too over priced and aint really that good, other wise it would be a farmi 260 on a u1200 or bigger but then would also have to spend 20k on a decent mog and then you might as well buy the best schliesing but personally think they are over rated

Only problem with 12" bandits is, if you do manage to get them down your domestic customers drive, the customer sh!ts themselves when they see your big chipper.....no pun intended

If you were to buy a brand new chipper for all round use.

 

as its always difficult to know whats best as when you see them in use or demo them, there all perfect.

 

But time always tells if its proved to be a worthy investment or asset.

 

Surely it depends on the type of tree work your doing? If you spend a lot of time backing up peoples driveways with a Ford Transit I doubt whether some of the chippers mentioned in this thread would fit - or even if the Ford Transit would move!!
