Good work Tim....especially with the top. Haven't seen a larch in a long time.

 

Just you and one helper ?

 

How are things there this time of year ? Enquiries slowed to a drip here now.

Yeah, 2 man team. That was the last of 5 similar trees overhanging the boundary - bowing/leaning out of woodland, just removing the worst ones just now. Nice work, everything staying on site.

 

Work is steady thanks, tend to drop a gear through winter.

Breffni, do you mean slings as opposed to a choked rigging Krab or just tying a running bow?

 

I use slings choked on the side limbs on most rigging jobs then half hitch choked Krab for vert sections or half hitch/running bow depending on weight etc

Lovely top there Tim. The light dusting on the limbs made the video for me. Looked great .

 

Great work as well. Had you already worked the tree you were tied off in or just set the line to help balance on the dismantle?
