Anyone use the plus size iPhone in a bulky case like a lifeproof? Time for a new phone. I like the idea of the big screen but wonder whether the size of it in the hand and in the pocket will be an issue. What's your experiences?

I think they are too big for working men/women in outdoor work. They won't fit in your pocket easily on their own never mind in a thick case which you would be crazy not to have.

I've got an iPhone 7 in a (can't remember brand) survivor case and that only just goes in my pocket!

The big ones are nice though but for outdoor work I'd save the money and get normal size or get the bigger memory normal size

i have the 6 plus in a normal case, fits in my inside pocket in normal jackets, if in bulky case, could fit in a belt pocket BUT not sure how it would survive should it get a beating against a tree, (keep it on the ground and use a cheap old mobile when climbing ??)

Thanks for all your replies. I tried a 7 plus in a shop today and it seemed too big to comfortably hold and type with 1 hand. With the case on, my guess it really would be 2 hands needed for typing easily
