Fell 4 ft from step ladder fractured knee 😭

Yep !, my knee swelled up like that as well when i dislocated and broke it. The following day the doc took about a pint and half of fluid out of it. That hurt more than doing the damage in the first place. Took about 3 weeks before i could walk on it, and bloody ages before i could trust it not to give way again.

Nasty, we're all only one step away from stuff like this.

 

Speedy recovery. Can you still earn? In the office or on the blower?

 

Not sure yet mike biggest problem is driving especially the forklift. I should be able to feed the kindlet in a few days. Luckily I live in a bungalow because stairs are A nightmare

Hope you get well soon Steve. Amazing how such serious injuries happen from minor accidents. I did a job for a guy about 3 yrs ago, came out of the house with a metal frame screwed to his body from waist to top of head, broken back , 6 months in the frame, looked like a proper serious car crash or something no fell off the loft ladder!
