No, that would be banning protest outright.

He's only removed funding because protesters have taken over university campus buildings and refuse to move.

The law then protected the protesters from eviction even when given the right to evict.

Again a simple case of do what you want on your time and dime, if I'm paying for an education in the USA especially there's no place for protesters during study time.

And, it's not stopping freedom to protest.

It's doing the logical thing of saying do as you wish within the rule of law but you won't be doing it on government money.

Same basic rule of trade unions, fine to do it on your own time & dime.

errrr... so following that logical conclusion then, any government employee who protests also lives from government money?

Noting that 'illegal' protests gave woman and black people the votes. Also got Chinese students having a stand-off against tanks in Tiananmen Square... before they were shot by way of extreme example.

Also noting that Trump has been banning press that don't paint a favourable picture of him from the white house.

And gets in a major strop if any world leader criticises him

I suspect the problem isn't protests, it is the 'Leader of the Free World' with such a fragile ego he cannot hack any critics.

Is that what you say? Your man there is disputing that the Ukraine is a small country - apart from landmass every other metric shows that it is a small country - politically, finanially, population et al. Your man there thinks that it is the largest country in Europe, and apart from land mass it is a small country - politcally, financially, population et al. Your man there I fear shares your fantastic ability to use an internet search, your blindness is if it isn't on social media it is not a fact, his I think is a blindness that Wikkipedia exists.

As he said you have as ive mentioned more than once the ability to talk utter bollocks about a broad range of subjects, most of which you have zero experience or insight in. Mr Anonymous, how’s the kindling coming along.
Watching the armchair strategists on here offering expert advice on this topic, you guys know there is a way you can go to Ukraine join up and fight against Putin ! I presume none of those giving out the advice and criticism on here have ever been under fire ??.
Anyhow just be aware Starmer made a lot of effort to shaft British troops and fight for terrorists in his previous well paid gig. Like another Labour politician he seems very keen on putting lads to war on his watch.

If Trump really wants to be respected by Xi and Putin he will respond to protests like in Tiananmen Square

Cough cough, far right and two tier Kier.

No, the distinction was quite clear.

If you're on the clock, no protesting for you.

Lunch time, you're time and out of any uniform, fill yer boots, but waltzing around campus shouting about Palestine is POINTLESS, no actually the step beyond pointless, infantile.

'On the clock' which is the point of Students, they don't study in a traditional 9 to 5 way, might be a couple of hours lectures in the day, some library work, evening study and back in the library at the weekend... so who is to know if the time they spend protesting is actually eating into their study time? However it is another of Trumps clamp down on anyone who criticises the egotist.

Xi and Putin don't have to worry about silly things like elections removing them from office.

Trump is a truly great leader, we may never see his like again - so why prevent him from serving a historic third term?
