One of my spaniels was gun shy and it was a bit of a problem until she went deaf in later years . There are potions for calming I think . The woman that takes a puppy training class plays a recording of fire works to the young dogs and plays with them and makes a game out of it rather than comfort them making them see it as not a threat or anything to be afraid of .

Makes sense:thumbup1: would the "potion" for calming contain alcohol by any chance? the dog may have to fight me for it:laugh1:
