Had the things going off for the last 4 nights near me but my dog could not give toss about them just sits there watching them, my brother old Labrador was gun shy but not firework shy. Maybe best to let them see where the noise comes from.

Never had a problem with ours but if they're house dogs just make sure they're indoors and someone's with them, sometimes it's worse to change things with dogs than have 10 minutes of noise.

Our collie used to get pretty edgey on hearing fireworks,he couldnt give a toss now cause he's 13 and almost completly deaf.

Just reassure your dog when they get scared,or distract with treats

One of my spaniels was gun shy and it was a bit of a problem until she went deaf in later years . There are potions for calming I think . The woman that takes a puppy training class plays a recording of fire works to the young dogs and plays with them and makes a game out of it rather than comfort them making them see it as not a threat or anything to be afraid of .

Makes sense:thumbup1: would the "potion" for calming contain alcohol by any chance? the dog may have to fight me for it:laugh1:

The wife says those tight fitting dog coats calm them and reassure them with thunder, crow scarers and fireworks.

Look into that ,cheers:thumbup1:
