We have mice in our house and I have bought one of these electronic mouse repellants. Seems to have cleared them from the attic but they are still running around the void between my daughter's bedroom floor and the living room ceiling. I want lift some floor boards and chuck in some poison so does anyone have a recommendation and a supplier please.

A mate of mine had a problem mouse that would run along the beams of his cottage, various products and methods tried, and failed including sniping with an airgun. In the end he got some heavy duty double sided tape, put that on the beams and caught the thing alive, stuck to the tape. Then dispatched and disposed of, unbelievable but true!

You can buy glue traps for mice but I still prefer the old Little Nipper with a peanut as bait. If you know where they are running it's a doddle.

Well, to answer the poison question, I have used Rentokil Rodine that I bought from a local hardware store (very much a traditional shop, a bit like 'open all hours'. Sells everything and the old boy behind the counter still wears the beige coverall - fantastic place).

The poison comes on tainted grain and you get a couple of trays to bait. If you have a large problem, buy the rats version. Its exactly the same ie grain/poison, but you get more for your money.

No smells of dead mice when I used it, but they were in the attic so perhaps I didn't notice?

Your house will then stink of dead mice.

Buy a gun, then get some hunting trophy pics up like a rich fat Yank.

Great idea! Perhaps you could also make up some nice shield shaped base plates out of timber for mounting their little stuffed heads on. Then you could hang them on the wall alongside any other big game.
