Sod climbing them at full extension. I went up my old wooden doubles the other day and they are bendy and full of wood worm. Extended out on 45% slope, sloping away felt very high. Load of builders watching and laughing as i am nervously reaching the top with a massive Elvis leg going on. Never been so relieved to get my lanyard round the tree and clipped in. Gotta love ladders!!

It's when you get to the top of the third section and realise one dead bit of ivy is actually all that's holding you up that you become a world record lanyard attached!
