  1. Past hour
  2. Aye, it's obscene. They could at least give us the electricity from the turbines in the 12 Miles they own, in the sea, for free. But they won't because they don't give a toss for the common people. Parasites.

  4. Ah, you meant October the 7th. You should have said that in the first instance.
  5. As has been said, the form doesn’t function correctly- please tell us when it is updated
  6. Does he? 2/3. Facts and reality count for everything.
  7. Wouldn't imagine poplar would be any good, it's super light weight. You're better using dense hard woods
  8. Were you boweled out or did you get the runs?

  11. Thanks Lads, I appreciate it.
  12. Today
  13. Been following this topic with interest. As veterinary surgeon ticks hold a great deal of interest. A few points, some more pedantic than others! 1. It's Lyme disease, not Lyme's. Named after a small town in New Hampshire. 2. Don't knock the Doc's. Compared with 20 years ago most of them are really on it now and considering the try not to use antibiotics ethos that we live in nowadays I know that in this area (Sussex) if you report a tick bite you will almost automatically be put on antibiotics. 3. New kid on the block. Tick Bourne Encephalitis. TBE. Seriously this makes Lyme disease look like a walk in the park. It's a viral disease, so antibiotics won't help. Affects animals and humans equally and is potentially fatal. We are just starting to see cases reported in the UK. As an interesting side note, the serotype of Lyme disease that is prevalent in the UK does not seem to affect dogs. In the US Lyme is a fairly common disease in dogs. I have tested many dogs here in the UK over the last 30years and have still to see a positive titre. I think the basic message here is don't ignore ticks, if you get a bite do something about it particularly if you feel ill post bite. Despite what has been said in the posts above I thing most GPs are aware and ready to treat where required.
  14. I had two 440 kits once, one Hyway and one Meteor, both had a badly formed inlet port in EXACTLY the same way hence my comment.
  15. My normal reaction would be tank vent, coil failure, coil gap too large and low compression. You have covered most of these bar the coil to flywheel gap. Try storing the saw in the shade after use as if the parts you have used are OEM and fitted correctly and the compression is good, the issue is most likely the heat expanding the fuel in the tank, forcing it past the carb needle valve so worth checking the diaphragm, needle valve and spring assembly.
  16. Thanks! It's a personal project as I found that it looks unprofessional if a customer asks what a tree is and your team doesn't know.

    Compression tests

It is possible that I could have pressed the decomp button accidently, not that I remember to press it any other time! I'll try again tomorrow! Piston, bearings, pin, and everything was well oiled with 2t for reassembly. I dont think its a Hyway as there Korean, it all said made in Italy on the boxes. Hyway use different type of plating, this looked like nikasil, not that I have any expereince comparing them, but from photos, they look different. @pleasant Yes it should be, Husqvarna OE one thats recommended by many and sold by LSE, results seem accurate and consistent. Compression Tester - Genuine Husqvarna Part - 531 03 16-86 | L&S Engineers WWW.LSENGINEERS.CO.UK Compression Tester for Husqvarna Machines Genuine Husqvarna Part. OEM No. 531 03 16-86
  18. Sorry Andy....it is a new fangled battery thingy🙄😉 It could be an issue with the bearings in the cutter head or the blades binding a bit. Try a bit of lubrication.....for the machine, not you👍
  19. A decent 372xp will make 170psi cold if pulled over multiple times. A well used one will make 150+. If you drop the base gasket on one, expect around 185psi. No idea on your Meteor kit, I would have expected it to be 150+. I had a low compression reading on a 372 wearing a stone cutter 375 cylinder but that turned out to be due to the design of the combustion chamber on the larger cylinder. There isn't much that can go wrong, ring end gap, piston to bore fit, decomp valve. If the cylinder is dry then expect compression to increase dramatically once there is fuel oil mix around the ring and piston. I think the Meteor cylinders are rebranded Hyway cylinders.
  20. Bold move in this age of photo recognition on iPhones. Good luck anyway.
  21. I appreciate this is top end stuff, but all should be taken into consideration for the wider picture. What compression tester are you using...it is known to you to be accurate?
  22. Nah I had to wait as I had database issues, those are (hopefully) sorted now 😂
  23. I wasn’t dreaming it then at least 😂
  24. I never posted anything, I just messaged you in march asking if it was okay to post, you said it was okay. This is my first post.
  25. I quickly read it ,as I was thinking of another incident that happened in a London park with a poplar ,unless they got it confused with this !
  26. Didn’t you post this same thing under a different username a few months back?
  27. What a way to go, copulating whilst the inferno engulfed them.
