Well funnily enough I met with both Tom and Jerry today at thier Scottish site. I was getting training and accretted. Was a great day and learned how to properly use the Mill plus Tom did a cracking job of dialing the Mill in properly.

Theres an old saying, when your mates constantly trying to push his pinus onto you, its time to take a step back.

If you are on Instagram Andy, check out Grantlandtimber based in the SW. They have been importing Peterson Mills and developing business here for about a year, they are planning some sort of event this year, I think they are out and about up in Scotland this week.

Problem i see it as more in reply to the last couple of comments is its the ever stricter emission levels forced onto manufacturing. same with cars and vans. They are not built like the old days, highly strung and often thinner materials to save weight. chippers (like grinders) have a tough life! must be hard to get the balance right for sure. i had a timber wolf 230 before and it also had its share of issues over time. My point was it broke, they fixed it in a few hours. Every day im not working (and so my team ) we lose thousands as all other bills still keep coming so i was very pleased with them getting me back to it.

To add to the above - include reference to relevant documents regarding working practises etc (can be provided if required). The guy assessing the documents will almost never have any experience in tree works so they just need to understand you’re working to guidelines/standard and how you stay safe during the process.

Unless you're a bona fide subcontractor then you don't need your own professional insurances. If they want you to act as one, then that's a very different arrangement altogether and will cost them a lot more money.

Jeezy peeps, things are getting bad when people have to buy clones of Botch kit. @africanarborist I'd just keep an eye out on eBay and FB marketplace for a decent second hand pair. No, they're not Category III PPE, but you don't want some shonky pair from Amazon failing at a crucial moment. Yes, used on 3 removals since I got them October. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DHBKQYXW When I bought them I did intend to replace the slower straps, but they are good enough Look on YT how to sharpen spikes properly and.give them a light tickle. Got mine very sharp and its a pleasure using them. Before I had only used old worn out Distels, a Tree hog and some leather topped things, in the few teams I worked with. That gave me a real dislike of spiking..

Do you have a pair of these?

kram started following Second Hand Climbing Spikes:

If you cant afford a new pair, the £100 clones of the Notch Gecko are good.

2000 dead in Iran protests is not a lot of people - even 20 thousand wouldn't have been many. China killed about 30 million from starvation as they forced peasants to stop working in the fields and start working in mines and industrial production. 1959 -1961. Those 30 million dead over 3 years is the price they paid for what is now quite a prosperous country, teething problems. They didn't know how to switch from privately grown food at first, collectivisation was not thought out properly. Iran may well change from a dictatorship, but China still isn't a democracy and they are doing great.

Amazing News 👍👍👍👍what a difference that will make, that makes our electricity prices and deindustrialisation that bit more bearable.

A picture from 2010 I recon, bit did we look cool. They didn't last long at work I think a couple of pairs were floating about but they didn't really get going with any of us. -

Nice view! Good for remembering what DICTATORS can do! Especially religious fanatics lunatics! Don't know how many thousands dead Trump waits! I would've demolished bomb Iran to the ground since last time military action was fully implemented with Israel. And if China or Russia had anything to say ,well then ,WAR is fully on btches! 😎🙄 Trump and Bibi surely regret not finishing off Iran dictatorship once and for all.

There is no replacement for coal, oil or natural gas! Unfortunately... We ,as a specie, can lie to ourselves that we can find "cheaper" more abundant energy sources but truth be told ,there is none to replace fully 100% coal, oil and natural gas! Nuclear energy even fully implemented ,still lacks fuel for all possible built reactors! Matematics/numbers don't lie...

I don't do these kind of things on purpose. Not why I made my account here. If I did troll anyone ,I apologise. Will be carefull not to do it again!
