  1. Past hour
  2. Ash handle, elm head. Beetle for hedgelaying, but may be too posh!
  3. Good call. It's got the hardness required I think.
  4. It looks like wood of a fruit tree, apple my guess.
  5. Self employed, tickets, climbing kit, pruning saw, drive a car, ready for days. Contact for day rates. Based in Hounslow, willing to commute up to 45 minutes if the juice is worth the squeeze.

  9. About time the NHS was shaken up, so let’s hope something like this happens. I deeply resent having to fund the NHS and the BBC (amongst others). They don’t work and the reason there are no real choices (with health anyway) is the very fact that we are all forced to fund them. As for higher national debt, press censorship and incompetence, how would you describe the current and previous government?! The only reason that Farage is flying in the polls is the huge unrest with the current system brought about by our two main parties.
  10. You reap what you sow 👍👍 “ I was excited to see the reply I predicted 😂😂” I didn’t see any predictions ?? But hey there’s some exciting lives being lived it would seem. Excuse me if I don’t get overly worked up today.
  11. Yeah, I guessed the Ash. The head doesn't look quite right for Oak though, too chocolatey.
  12. I'll guess at ash handle oak head.
  13. better, QED was a bit off, but I was excited to see the reply I had predicted. See I agree with Johnsod that Hamas are brutes, but he will not say anything negative about how Israeli treatment of the Palestinians for decades has been equally brutal, arguably far worse, as Israel has the US to bulk them up on steroids Lebensraum
  14. Foregone conclusion.
  15. Nothing proven nor an argument to win. It’s called having an ???
  16. im terrible with names of anything, ill get a picture of it when im using it on Friday
  17. Going well I see
  18. More mind readers than I had realised on here. I know one or two have claimed that ability in the past but they had gone quiet for a while. I could put up a few Hamas videos of them beheading women and children on that day if anyone is interested in “narratives”
  19. I will agree but for very different reasons.... Farages constant politicising and divisive politics jumps on the small boats as a photogenic issue, and the way things are going are going to give him a good chance at power... and for this reason this will not improve things. Farage has all the political competence of a mushroom. Apart from this single issue, he has no policies... Farage in power will lead to a sell off of the NHS, will lead to censorship of the press, will lead to a higher national debt... and from that an increased tax burden on us all for many years to come, pensions will no longer be state funded but follow the US and no state help for those with nothing. Divisive politics has been his life, and in power will continue that way, the UK will splinter further than it is now. Yes the small boats are going to cause many problems and the greatest of these - for us all - is the threat of Farage in power. Take a step backward, away from emotions and ask, in all seriousness, has Farage any ability to lead a country... the answer is no.
  20. if he even listens to it all, quite upsetting when a different narrative is presented Getting Johnsond to believe what those guys are saying is like trying to get a Christian or Muslim to believe Man evolved from microorganisms in the sea

    Ladders

First proper use of ladder. I like it, very stable. It fits well on the roof rack, rungs are perfectly spaced. It'll extend two steps higher.
  22. Very nice. Croquet mallet? What is the wood, I don't recognise it?
  23. No, I think that there's probably more than a shred of truth to it. What did you think @Johnsond?

    DIY Big Shot

Interesting, something I have thought about doing and I bought a set of excersize bands for it last year - I remember the thick one is something like 60 or 80kg pull strength and would likely launch a throw bag to the moon! I dont know if I'd care for the trigger but its a neat solution. I'll watch the video later. I wouldnt really want to carry an extra steel pole. I wonder if a launcher head could be affixed to my Magnusson pruner pole or to my ladders.
  25. In loo of machinery a good breakfast I assume .
