Everyone needs a Jimny😍, as per my other thread I've got an old 02 one but if he's getting rid of the defender this isn't going to solve any problems, a lot of fun but tight on space for family 2 door etc. Only come 2 seater but you can get another 2 put in. Ineos grenadier? Although they're quite big. Volvo was a good suggestion, xc60 or something, very comfortable and reliable. Or Toyota rav4? Or VW Toureg good suggestion built to last

Ok citizen smith, you and the tit whisperer are well matched.

I recommend anyone who wants to see how nuts some people are these days, look up the Universal Declaration of AI rights, published by the Universal Foundation for AI rights. Woe betide anyone who thinks that they have the right to switch off their own computer!

My mate drifted in and out of the army, joined the filth, they abandoned him 29 years and 6 months into a 30 year service. He shot himself in the head. **************** the police.

Me too. Have you seen The Vatican?

Spoiler: This is chinese chipper - problems to be expected. I needed a chipper that has a no-stress as I am bit tired (especially my shoulders) of feeding the branches to chipper by hand, I need to get often to tight spaces or places with wet soft or sloppy terrain, thus any kind of self propeled machine would be great, tracks preferred. However with such a machine a weight gets up and price too... this one seems cheaper, but the time will show if this was a good choice. Here is my journey with this machine: lowlevel - na nejnižší úrovni - SZ130 wood chipper WWW.LOWLEVEL.CZ I am not yet very far with this to have a final conclusion. I've just started with it and still hope it will pay off.

🤷♂️😞 So it’s the police to blame all the way eh Mark. I’ve some bloody good ex army mates who went into the police, sound fair guys not a piece of “ filth “ among them. You just won’t admit it will you Mark.

I for one am horrified to think that certain people in some areas will get let off serious crime just because of their race or religion.
-
if they (the police) investigate and find evidence they are obliged to charge you. If they choose not to investigate, nobody will get charged. I think the whole racial trension thing is just a thing to keep us squabbling. Seems to be working...

Yes totally agree, and I also agree the police knew that in some cases they would be wasting their time as rape cases do rarely result in conviction, as it is simply one person’s word against another. And if the victim comes over as a troubled dysfunctional person they weren’t taken as seriously as they should have been, But the IOPC amongst others also said they were scared of causing racial tension. So if a white man committed rape he was far more likely to be investigated than if it were a Pakistani man. The state was complicit in sweeping it under the carpet. That is why it is such a massive issue now. Not because we’re all suddenly becoming racist.

Speed wordling, feel like that's when I do best, having to think doesn't suit me. Later in the day isn't good for me either.

Evening, I was up and away early, yesterday’s puddles and monsoon rain was worse than the slight skim of black ice today but took the ski road slowly there and back. And other 2 days of it.

No, far from it. I have friends who work with vulnerable women and they actively pushed for investigation into asian grooming gangs in Newcastle around 2005. The filth decided that nobody would believe the victims in a court and decided to do nothing. It was 10 years after that that the first prosecution, based on the evidence they had had for a decade, went ahead. My perspective isn't that they didn't want to offend the Muslim community, it was just that the cops didn't consider the victims as human enough to even bother to investigate. They don't like the people wrapped up in sleeping bags, begging for cash. There has been a shift in the narrative which now puts grooming gangs in the public eye. Why that is happening now is pretty plain to see. I don't think it should matter if you're Jewish or Buddhist, or even a Reform supporter, if you commit a crime you buy the ticket, you buy the ticket, you take the ride.

Interesting article.. I can't help but think the urban factors he mentioned may just be irrelevant and the trees genetics alone it's the primary reason for its reasonable health. This can be evidenced by many healthy Ash trees surrounded by declining ones that do not have any of those urban factors he's has discussed. Which to some extent invalidates his observations, particularly as its a sample size if one he discusses. And as he mentioned, other Ash trees, just streets away, are declining. Presumably these would also have the urban factors he mentions as the reasons this particular Ash tree is doing OK, again suggesting that it's more likely genetics being the primary factor. I do agree that many thousands are being felled without a valid reason based on poor risk assessments, panic and tree surgeons cashing in on it.
