Swapped a proper lanyard on the uc029, girth hitched around the handle, thats rubbish as it loosens and moves all the time, and the lanyard is then a bit too short. Anyone found a place to buy the Makita attachment? 1914Y8-5 - Hook WWW.MAKITAUK.COM Product

Thanks for the help guys. Was very easy to fit, no damage done thankfully though I will change the blades in the next month or so. Goes in here, just to the right hand side of the opening. -

It’s very decent work. in 5 years time you’ll knock that off while the customer boils the kettle instead of whilst peace in the Middle East is negotiated! Good stuff anyway.

I guess pendula's are relatively east to get a nice shape. Near enough done but I left my anchor up and will bring that middle top down to same as the rest.

All I can say before commiting is Hire one for a week or two first to see if you both really like the lifestyle you’ll be buying into. A neighbour spent nearly 50k on one, used it a couple of times then sold it at a great loss ☹️ Agreed entirely. We did spend several years a long time ago with touring caravans and three young children 😂. It was quite interesting today, got some ideas of what we like and what we don’t.

Let me know when you are coming, and just leave room for either garage door to open or the side of the drive

General consensus is that it’s Ai. Been knocking about on various platforms for a week or so.

Hey Bob . You do what you godda do bud . I am all in from beating today . Dogs are super . They can talk to you with just a look . 🙂

Sorry Stubby. Been a long hard week and the thought of a quiet night with just the hound(s) for company got me. I'll not be late on parade tomorrow. Promise.
-
Bob . You are well early or 'kin late ! 😀

Man and Hound time is the BEST. You say one-sided, but they get the "mood" and respond with appropriate affection/disdain. Miss mine.

I thought he went under it . Still could be AI though

Been a good week, dry and clear, made a few quid and nothing broke (man or machine) so much success! Wife is back in the UK visiting her parents, so me and Igor in conversation all evening, bit one sided tbh.

I think that last one is Ai. The dog just seems to walk through the tree.

You need to make the stands reasonably priced, and the beers and food need to be good and fairly priced too. A strong focus on the social side is essential — an evening with a bar open until very late around a big fire would be perfect. The social aspect is what people will look forward to, remember, and come back for — something no one else really does, apart from when I ran the FRJ show. The focus needs to be on the visitors; if you get that right, the stands will fill up naturally. But also remember, from an exhibitor’s point of view, before they even pay for the plot, they’ll already be facing costs of £2–5k or more for marquees, transport, staff, hotels, etc. It’s going to be difficult, as you’ll need to cover costs while keeping things reasonably priced. Without the numbers, it just won’t happen. Also, security is always an issue with theft, so that needs to be taken into account.
