  4. I’d heard a few whispers, but that’s a bit out of the blue. The two biggest UK manufacturers now owned by an American megacorp. Bit of a shame, but there you go. I have always said American small chippers are absolute crap compared to Euro built ones. Be interesting to see if they push the smaller ones alongside the big Mobarks in the US.

Bought this mill secondhand around 2013, having done very little work, housed in a barn. Put to work between 2013 and 2017 sawing larch for timber frames. A change of direction with business meant the mill was mothballed 2017-2020, and then brought back into action for a year or so for two more frames. I've held onto the mill - despite now drystone walling full-time - in the hope I could find time to build a frame for myself as a home. Unfortunately, I have had to give up the workshop and yard due to an unsustainable increase in rental, and the mill needs a new owner. Everything is in order, and there's a healthy box of spares and a couple of spare blades. I am being pressed by the landowner to clear the yard, so I could do with a quick, uncomplicated sale!

Haven’t had one this bad for a while. What could I have done better? Smaller gob? Sycamore. Two foot dbh ish. Visibly dead. Even crown weight. Building at 7 o’clock. Pull from 1 o’clock. Stretchy arb rope. Set low middle. Low moderate pretension. Hit the spot at 12 o’clock. But didn’t like how fast it went. But then later thought better to have got it moving away from the building than have it standing teetering dithering on shit wood.

  15. Yup, it's a bit disconcerting.
  16. Today
  17. Hmm, followed the link, bit strange. Lots of strange attitudes to Christian values when mixed in with nationalism which then causes conflict between the two.
  18. Don't go putting up shelves... From the mail so obviously true
  19. Ha ha, Dave, you have shown your true colours on here. You can't expect to be able to claim that you have no agenda. You stir the racial pot at any given opportunity. That is no coincidence. That's a coward's way to do business.
  20. 100 people killed by terrorists in the last 20 years: A bit more context, 11,400 just plain old murders in that time. About 14,000 died falling down stairs. About 200 people killed Scuba diving. 27,700 ended up in hospital with a slippers related accident. Good to be reminded of the statistics, be careful out there folks
  21. Fell them all.
  22. Oh no! No more walking in the woods for me anymore!
  23. Did I say it was ?? I said to wait, did I not ?? Don’t start the day off with lies and wild leftard nonsense now bonny lad
