Hey, Thanks for adding me to the forum I’m looking for some part time or casual work in the Manchester or Stockport area. I’d like to gain some climbing experience by working with competent climbers. I come with my own gear and transport, and work as a self-employed gardener, so I’m good to subcontract. I just started doing some climbing jobs as part of my business. I have CS30/31/38/39, first aid, bushcutter, pesticides, and an RHS lev 2 and city & guilds lev 2 in horticulture... Casual doesn’t seem to be quite the right word for tree work

Hi all, I've been doing tree work for about 5 years and I'm a fully competent climber. I have my own climbing kit and 5 relevant NPTC tickets. I'm looking for any work available around the Northwest, even if its just a day that's fine. Inbox me for more info. Cheers

You may have looked at the thread i started about a trainee position, i have since gained an interview at moreton morrel college and fingers crossed i will be starting in september. I am asking if anybody may need a laborer on an ad hoc basis? Then possibly turning into a full time labourer in the months of june, july and august, if the position is there. I say this as i am 18 just finishing off my a levels in the next couple of months. . I really want to gain some experience in the industry and save up some money to get me through college. I understand that to get anywhere in life i need to graft as hard as i can, and that i will do. I have had some experience in our smallholding. I helped my dad fell, split and stack what must be close to 200 dead elm trees and convert them into fire wood. I have been working part time for the last two years and have gained alot of qualities which will help me be a good worker. I am also willing to do a couple of the groundsman NPTC courses before i start if it is needed. I have a car so i can travel pretty much anywhere around the midlands/warwickshire and surrounding areas. I would really appreciate anything anybody can do for me you would be really helping. Ill work extremely hard to make your life hopefully alot easier. If your at all interested please email me or give me a ring and im sure we can work something out, as far as im concerned im pretty flexible.

I'm looking for a trainee position. Myself I haven't had any experience, im 18 doing my a levels at the moment so I cannot start full time until after 10th of June. Although i am willing to do various NPTC courses in the mean time. Ideally id like to be trained up to become a climber eventually. I would like a paper qualification but if its not possible I can combine it with a part time course at Moreton Morrel college. Consider me, I am willing to graft hard in order to get where I want to be. I just think a position where I can learn first hand within the industry not at college will benefit me more. Thanks.
