    Chapel Farm - Plantation

Hi there, We are located just below Holman's test mine in Troon, Cornwall; we are on the same road, the first left after the mine's path. The chips would be used for our paths and gardens located on the farm. HGV's come and go from the mine multiple times a day with no problems in regards to the road. I've drawn where the general drop would be best to go however it is just a rough guideline and it can go a lot further back than the photos show. The only requirement is that it doesn't block the path on the left or the gate that is to the right that couldn't fit in the picture.

    Glencarse garden

Large garden in a wide street just off the A90. Double gates. Paved driveway area is the tipsite with lots of spare space on the adjacent grass for a larger load if needed. Call for directions as I don't appear on sat nav. The location pin is accurate though.
  3. Silverwood School is a special needs school that takes pupil from all over wiltshire. Pupils who are able help to take care of the site by maintaining the woodland and gardens. Our pupils love wheelbarrowing woodchip to all areas of our site to help develop areas and maintain the paths and beds at the school. Please come during School opening hours Monday-Friday 7am -5:30pm (avoid 8:40am and 3pm as this is pick up and drop off.) The tip site is just on the left as you come through the white gates. Multiple loads welcome as long as its well off the school road, close to the woodland. what three words///dockers.withdrew.engaging. If you have clean woodchip your welcome without checking. DO NOT sign in, tip and go. Thanks Tim Melrose Head of outdoor learning Silverwood school
  4. Hi all, thanks for taking the time to read the listing. Looking for 3-5m³ of ideally clean woodchips to fill the bottom part of my garden which I'm trying to give a woodland feel to. I'm also open to (some) hard/softwood logs which I plan to use as decor to attract wildlife/bugs etc and some to cut and store for fuel too. Tip site is out the front of my property, either on the driveway somewhere or on the front grass directly outside my property. Please call beforehand to discuss. The area these are going to be used for will allow me to do bushcrafty things on a natural surface, cover planted beds, as well as be able to do various outdoor play activities with my son. Thanks!
  5. An allotment site with a locked farm gate for access into field. Pre-arranged access available to suit and a dedicated area to hold chippings. We can take most type of chippings for paths, mulching & composting. Please contact me on 07748590937 prior to delivery so that we can meet to show you delivery spot.
  6. Looking for wood chips to use across my garden. Easy access garden with big drive so plenty of space for you to drop off. Thank you!
  7. Hello 👋 I stumbled across your forum and was hoping for a bit of advice? We just moved to a rural rented property where we plan to stay for around 5 years. We need to fence an area of the garden at the front (approx 30 metres, easy access, one corner, soft ground) due to a road as we have dogs. Our landlord is happy for us to do whatever but may well want us to remove the fence at the end of the tenancy, I guess depending on how nice it looks, not sure on the criteria! We need it to be about 3ft high, not spoil the views and keep the dogs in, though they are not really escape artists but one is quite small, so no huge gaps. Need to be able strim the grass easily too. Would stock fencing or picket fencing be the best option? Or is there something else? Have to consider price a bit as its only 'semi permentant' so to speak and ease of removal if required. No concreting etc. We already have stock fencing around some of the property, so that would seem fitting. But would picket fencing be cheaper/easier/look nicer? What sort of price would I be looking at? Any ideas and suggestions welcome. Thanks for reading if you made it this far 😀

Hi, I’m looking for free / cheap wood chips for the back garden. Don’t mind if it’s mixed with leaves, it all rots down. Used for weed control on the flower beds and as pathways.

I'm looking for wood chips from winter pruning and/or chipped crown reductions (mix of leaves and wood) to fuel my developing permaculture garden. Depending on what I receive I'll either use directly as mulch or else compost it for a time. Happy for materials to be emptied onto driveway with my consent!
  13. We need lots of woodchips to line pathways between raised beds. We also can accept a moderate number of logs and often looking for logs both as a way to create bug hotels and grow mushrooms. Please call ahead of time to arrange a dropoff. We can generally accept last minute deliveries, but there needs to be someone to open the gate. We are a community garden that attempts to use permaculture practices to create a unique space for gardening, relaxing and food growing. The front of the garden features raised beds planted with vegetables, herbs and flowers while the back garden is a deliberately left wild to foster increased biodiversity in the area. A newly planted hedgerow of edible plants encircles the entire garden.

Hi, if you have a load of wood chips that I can use to mulch my flowerbeds I'd really apriciate them. You can tip them on my drive, ideally on a tarp I would lay out if I am home. Feel free to give me a call.
  15. Something a bit different! I've been to a clients this morning to look at a Lime tree that lies on the border of the property. The client wants to fence around the tree but the post will be directly in the roots of the tree within centimetres of the stem. Has anyone come across a fencing system that will allow the fence to go around the tree without digging posts in?
  16. Bark/wood chippings to be deposited on driveway. Please call in advance so that I can place a tarp Down - tel Jon
