Initially looking for either: Two 6m / 20ft logs with diameter ~45cm / 14 quarter girth in or Three 4m / 13.5 ft logs with diameter ~45cm / 14 quarter girth in Four 3m / 10ft logs also an option. Some flexibility in exact dimensions that will be acceptable. Flexible as to grade of timber, but need to be straight. Collection from roadside or delivered would work - near Winchester. Please drop off at far end of drive, away from Dyffryn Road. Deposit on the side of the drive. Please do not block drive. Limited turning area once on drive, probably best to reverse into drive. Three drop off sites at end of drive shown by red colour X's on attached images. No need to call ahead. Looking for - woodchip for mulching pathways, flower borders, chicken coop. Logs for firewood. Small trees and branches that can be split and used for fencing. Free fresh eggs often available, please call at the house. I am creating a vegetable patch/allotment and would like to use woodchip for the paths (60-90cm wide, 8m long). I would also like to use logs to create edges for the beds. We have a large gate near the allotment so easy to access (lawn garden, gravel driveway). Any help with woodchip and/or logs would be much appreciated! We have a farm and campsite and are in constant need of woodchipping for paths and animal bedding etc. We also can take sawdust, large logs for seats, smaller logs for fires, woodchipping that doesn't compost very easily, and various other materials. Please just message us if in doubt. During the wetter months the access is not great but is suitable for a 4x4 vehicle, throughout dryer months we can accommodate up to a silage truck size. The gate is locked when we are not there so we will need to know at the very least what day the drops would be made to allow access.

If anyone is struggling to sell good size hardwood logs near me I pay good prices for: Ash, Elm, Sycamore, Walnut, Yew, and even Alder and Birch. The only hardwoods I really don't want are Poplar and Willow, and I do have plenty of Oak at the moment. Sycamore and Ash I am especially low on, so any stems at least 8 foot long and 18 inches diameter give me a call and I will pay around £70 per ton if you will deliver them to me. PM me or ring 01633 400720 during business hours. I will also buy a mixed load which includes firewood size logs and milling size logs, but I pay a bit less for that!
