  1. I never got intimate with the 351 or 353g Think the 3 series only just came out when I was 14 ish and have seen loads of 346xp/xpg but only ever one 351g and one 353 but the 353 was a bit improved over the 351 . When I was that age I didnt follow the science just what was in the brochure !
  2. Feck I remember what happed to the 350 , it went into a garden repair hire place and guess what the thing came out sized. Should of wrapped it round the hunts head who tried to fix it .
  3. I'm just on about factory standard , I thought the 346 screamed its knackers off but was gutless in proper wood , 351 /353 was had more grunt or torque, And the 350 was a cross between the both i found it could carry upto a 20" bar and still work effectively ..... gawd I miss that saw
  4. Maybe , the 357xp was tuned up wrong or on the wrong size sprocket, bar, chain configuration.. was the bosses saw, bulky and slow I thought. Just maybe I was lucky with my 350 and some of them are like brummie cars above .
  5. Its just that mhale pot and piston, I cant tell if it is or isn't but they are sold on Ebay, if i could get a new genuine one ...id buy one ..just a bloody all-rounder. Never liked the 346.
  6. Never had one in that many parts , mainly because it lasted really well and was still going strong when it was sold i resent selling it as it was my first chainsaw that got me through forestry college and in industry afterwards . The ones I had a dull view of was the 340 and 345. Is that the genuine pot or aftermarket one? Did like the 351g..
  7. Not home owner, land owner estate management saw , still a good saw , 346xp or xpg screamed but had no guts to it
  8. Couldn't beat the husqvarna 350,353,346 models , sure you've not got one of the Chinese copies of the above ? 357 xp was dire ,not sure what it was trying to be or do !
  9. Is it even the right throatplate they've sent out ? We've had that before with a different manufacturer . Or they could of got the stove that hot its been warped so the plate doesn't fit or won't fit .
  10. But we dont live in a 3rd world , and really u have no right to life , Have I rattled some amnesty international person?
  11. We need to be out of that human rights rubbish
  12. Give it a try ,most things take from woody cuttings we've a few things on the go at the moment as we want a native hedge and dont want to pay for whips
  13. If i was going to be money or be horrid , dont u think id have commented on your post about Chinese skidsteers ?
  14. Its how I phrase things that's it, so rather than jumping in and trying to be the main man ..why dont you stop , think about what you want to say before u write it . First place id turn to is Google, but bearing in mind Hunstanton is in the arse end of no where everyone will have to import it there. And if quantities were put up it might be cheaper to go further away
  15. Genuine question, are tree surgeons likely to sell playground bark ? Why dont u butt out ? If I had reply then I could have said try this person . That's all
  16. Google not thrown anything up ?
  17. Absolutely jealous of you having a permanent rink ,just saying to my other half about going to a proper ice rink and how it seems to be a thing of the 80s and early 90s. If not I will have to go to Denmark as they have a decent rink in the square every Xmas
  18. Can't beat a bit of skating if you can find a rink,if not you'll have to use roller blades !
  19. Might be, I wasn't well when I was up there
  20. He's ex military, i thought he was maybe I'm wrong . Doesn't he have the flag hanging up?
  21. I do ,if it was a good idea it wouldn't have been broken or placed in a position where it could of been damaged, But that change of A bar was a major thing , where the hse said u have to have the infeed chute further down and further away from the rollers makes it a pain , Should of kept the a bar as I cant see how long the wiring would last in some of these coastal locations . U cant mitigate idiots and badly maintained machinery.
  22. Was a qualified member of staff, I know the company but will not say it on here. But the is only so much u can do then the is just stupidity and bang more legeslation and hse, we never take into account home owners, builders, farmers that have accidents, it all gets lumped together..
  23. I was saying it was when machines went from having the standard A bar over the infeed chute , to then having chutes a certain distance /height away from rollers , then the bottom stop bar that was over sensitive ..then the paddle switches and emergency stop buttons . I mean how many safety devices does one need for one fecking machine. You can never risk asses idiots
  24. It was a stupid contractor (a bloke with long hair not scraped up) that caused the first change .I'm not complacent with chippers or chainsaws but I respect them and take precautions.the company that had the accident were known to cut corners ..enough said
  25. Yes i do , its obvious its going to break off, chippers were perfectly safe before having stupid switches on them, when you had the a bar on the chipper that did stop, forward and reverse ... the stupid story was a bloke had long hair and got scalped by the chipper. Chippers aren't dangerous the same way chainsaws aren't, its the people who use them
