  1. No experience necessary, pay dependent on km dug before surrendering to Ukraine.
  2. I've not heard of anything from those airfields, but one su34 shot out of the sky in Kursk apparently! Ukraine 'shoots down £28m Su-34 bomber inside Russia' during Kursk attack INEWS.CO.UK Ukraine claims to be in control of about 1,000 square kilometres of the Kursk region Lovely stuff.
  3. Ah it's not all big ticket leading item heavy news we get these days, sometimes we get silly little stories like Liz Truss being photobombed by a lettuce banner at her... umm... pro-Trump event... I guess she has to bring home the bacon somehow, might as well do it in the lucrative market of grifting off the right... I can't find a video of it right now, but her plaintive little "That's not funny..." does make the spectacle that little bit funnier.

    Jokes???

  5. Also great to see: "Russian forces are rapidly digging a network of trenches in Kursk Oblast, with only one catch: The trenches are 45km behind the border. Russian forces have been developing a trench network that, if fallen back to, would cede Ukraine a massive amount of territory." Important not to get our hopes up, but if they can push a little bit deeper they start to threaten a crucial railhead and a nuclear power plant. Hon the lads! From twitter
  6. Love it. Great to see.
  7. His what? Edit: ah, no, that's not fair, is it. He's still got loads of them left. Still... what a pillock!

If you are already teasing out each bit... you can just remove it instead.
  9. One of the very few instances in modern warfare where we have the luxury of an obvious good guys and bad guys, for want of a more nuanced phrase, and you still find yourself on the fence. Quite predictable, I have to say. It goes without saying: Team Ukraine, 2014 borders, **************** Russia. In case anyone needs things spelled out.
  10. I would say "Oi! Putin! Nooooo!"
  11. To be honest bud, it sounds as if you've got a leaky connection somewhere or your gas pressure is off, if you are getting sooty deposits on the underside of your pans. Otherwise, what exactly are you doing to the poor things?
  12. So here's the thing, panini are also better when made in a frying pan, using two heavy cast iron pans ideally, but any will do. Heat both pans, put the panini in one pan, and put the other pan on top, bottom to bread. Perfect hot and crispy bread crust.
  13. You want big wood going along the bottom of the frame, and screw the battens into that. Not as tidy as burying the sheet on the first install, but a lot easier. What a lot of people do these days is batten the main sheet to a wooden rail at navel-to-nipple height, leaving the lower 2-3 feet as a different sheet... which can be replaced a lot easier if damaged, as happens, or it can be made removable for ventilation, either with or without mesh fabric underneath.
  14. Flipping heck. Time for a change of uniform from the lost and found box...
  15. Oh, I see. So I guess what you are trying to say is that whatever you were doing 34 years ago and 900km away has absolutely f*ck all to do with the not-entirely-normal wildfires tickling Athens at the moment, and you just wanted to hear the sound of your own voice again by shoehorning your limited experience into the conversation. Which is fine, everyone has the right to share their opinion. 🙂
  16. I know, right!! How could you let them get out of control like that?
  17. But, credit where credit is due, this was an incredible part of his speech. Most sense he's made for a long time. More of this, please!
  18. Well anyway, dude, I hate to pick holes in another man's work, but you must have done a shite job... because those Cypriot fires are nearly at Athens now! Bloody immigrants, coming over here, burning our jobs, incinerating our benefits! Greece orders evacuations near Athens as wildfires rage – Europe live | Greece | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM Unprecedented summer temperatures after the warmest winter ever have turned terrain...
  19. Don't tell him Pike! It'll only start another argument!
  20. True, but those pesky protesters keep putting it in the wrong place 👀
  21. Oh, thank god for that. Nothing to worry about then. Back in the pool, everyone!
  22. This 4 year old cartoon becomes oddly relevant again, given Donald's recent choice of theme tune and his continuing obsession with Biden...
  23. Could be anti-tourism protesters like we've seen in Spain recently... I mean it could be anything, really... Maybe we'll never know!
  24. So anyway, Greece is on fire again.
  25. Oh, that wasn't a compliment.
