  8. The old man placed an order for one hamburger , French fries and a drink. He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half , placing one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counted out the French fries , dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife. He took a sip of the drink , his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger , the people around them were looking over and whispering. Obviously they were thinking , 'That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.' As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said , they were just fine - they were used to sharing everything.. People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink. Again , the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said 'No , thank you , we are used to sharing everything.' Finally , as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin , the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it you are waiting for?' She answered 'THE TEETH'. ”
  9. If you had given your vat number to chris you would not have paid it.
  10. Good choice for an entry mill and will cope with the larger logs if you trim them up. Did you pay vat or did chris chat to you about the options available regarding that.
  11. Be asking how often he humps the wife next 🤣 Does it matter its down and that is all that counts
  12. There is an option for electric. If noise is not a problem then i would go gas/petrol. I have 3 phase but the sell on value drops a mile between the two.
  13. You have not said what sort of budget you have and that will give us millers a guide to help. The 130 max has a 14hp kohler which is a fantastic engine and used in loads of different industries.
  14. In all this discussion i have milled 2 trunks into 8x2 lengths but keep popping in the workshop wondering about mr witterings dog. Excuse for a nice hot brew and a quick look on the laptop ☺️
  15. Only one way that is going. If you have knocked over a few before as mentioned your up to cutting that down and you will wonder what you were worried about.
  16. Look on the bay they are all listed on there,3/4 months waiting time matty i think.
  17. What budget you have really dictates what mill you can got for. What size trees do you normally cut or will you be buying stuff in as required. I have used a few different versions and the woodland mills seem to be the most popular entry level in the uk. Chris pearce is their main guy in the uk and he is most helpful and if your able to travel up to pontypool chris has one setup and will let you have a try and show you around it. Triggers mill is a step up in quality but price reflects that.Lumag seem to popping up on various websites and i notice machine mart are stocking them and price is on par with woodland.
  18. I am smart so no need to stop trying ☺️Get selling your sawdust or what ever you want to call it trigger.
  19. Then its called wood shavings. Sawdust is used as well for bedding and various other things
  20. Sawdust is sawdust 🤣That is why its called dust. What a dumb question.
  21. You will get away using the rotating grapple on that size machine and anything bigger. Smaller ones tend to struggle
  22. Is that a 1.5 or 2.5 ton machine ? Looks 1.5 from photo
  23. I use a fixed grab and i would not switch to a rotating one.
  24. What is the length on that bar and is it a 404 or 3/8
  25. Just had a new saw today but 3/8 or would have bought it.
