  9. I always use a 3.5 ton vehicle towing capacity on a car licence (older type) and keep total weight no bigger than 3.5 ton which is correct i think. Always worked on that theory if trailer is plated 3500 kg and vehicle is the same then i am safe.I used to have a 2.5 ton digger and a 750 kg plant trailer and was within the limits
  10. Correct. Its the towing weight of the vehicle that counts.Like saying i have a tractor but can i tow a hgv 25 ton trailer which is not the case.
  11. Second option is correct. How could you pull 3500 kg if max is 2700 kg, Each vehicle will have a stamp plate showing the correct info or google the vehicle model number for specs
  12. If a vehicle is plated to tow 2700 kg then that is the max it can pull. You could pull a 3.5 ton trailer but if the trailer weight is 1200 kg then maximum payload would be 1500 kg total 2700 kg
  13. Only 1 person phil and take no notice of the crazy scotts man. Nobody else does.
  14. Only a quick search this afternoon found that phil. Cracking little buy for £150 and no wonder it sold asap. Remember i am not the one looking for a planer and can only give good advise on stuff i use or do.
