The 881 comes with a 41” bar and chain combo (if you plumb for that option) so his theory on the 40” bar max is shot to s#*t straight off.

Re read the posts, my point is....... use the courier service, worked for everyone else and me, no issues. Saves you money if you work it against a real day to day life. Who said owt about genuineness? Never suggested paddy wasn’t? Just you in your usual alleged valley highland trip, stirring as usual. As i said earlier, butt out! You like to poke but dont like to wince at times!

This is probably a pointless shout!.... but! You’ll be lucky to get £80 sale difference between sellers giving a “good deal” I see that as your calling yourself a £80 a day or less earner if your willing to travel for it, plus fuel, stress of driving distance etc. I’d rather stay in bed!!!!!!!! Your call, my purchase came without a single mark on the box, the bar came wrapped in double quilted bubble wrap, and a bag around that. Couldnt fault their service, even got a email the day after saying thankyou for you purchase, any issues please dont hesitate to call. Came with parcelforce 48hr.

Mine landed with no issues all the way from the very far south to the north west, if it did have issues then it would of been a simple phone call and a send back/return at their expense, thats why they have courier insurance or why you pay for courier insurance. Factor your round trip in to the price of the saw, fuel, time, insurance, risk, day off work, driving makes you tired for the day after if your not used to it etc makes it a dear saw in my eyes. Use the courier service, its what its there for!
