  1. Many could(and should) be weeded out by the colleges, but that won't give them the pass rates they want would it. Speaking of which, the aerial rescue unit is a joke. All they have to do is tick some boxes and are then apparently competent. At the minimum there should be a maximum time frame applied.
  2. I've been torn for some time over which of these saws to purchase. People were raving about the Echo when it came out but I have heard mixed reports over their durability. Are they that much better than the Stihl in terms of performance, and is it worth sacrificing for over the inevitable breakages? Construction aside, which seems to be the most reliable? Love or hate the Stihl 201t its proved exceptionally reliable on site, never breaking down in 3 years. This makes me lean towards the Stihl at this stage. Thanks
  3. Wow, wish I had thought to knock at the door
  4. I left. 10 minutes later he called in a huff because I was messing up his plans lol. When I told him I wasn't going back he basically fired me from the job and said he'd find someone else. They are welcome to him!
  5. Customer insisted on me coming to do a job today despite me having a family I would have done something with. Turn up at the stated time, and here I am waiting outside their house for them to get out of flipping bed. This happened to anyone else? Another 10 minutes and im sacking it off
  6. what sort of mileage? Friend of mine has one on 250,000 miles and its still going strong.
  7. ermm up to a point. I think its a shame that the workers doing their jobs are having to take the brunt of the anger from the public
  8. Looked like it was doing well to hang on there
  9. One that has a clue helping to assist a climber to shape a tree whilst still clearing up, without huffing when you ask him to walk to a different position to guage it from a different angle
  10. i still have an ms200t but also the 201. The 201 gets most use mainly because its the most reliable out of the 2. The 200t was a great saw but I never owned a single one that wasn't tempremental
