  1. The ringing in the ears does stop ! I have NHS hearing aids , nothing wrong with them, can't justify spending £800.00 plus on private hearings aids. Just have a try they do make things better! In noises places they do help but I still miss conversations with noisy backgrounds .
  2. Hi all, ringing in my right ear first ! Then left ear followed , diagnosis 3 years ago with deafness. Wear my right hearing aid all the time as left one keeps falling out ! Do get ringing in my ears if I don't wear hearing aids. Drives me nuts the ringing

  6. Hi have a TE 2. HILTI sds drill , but has an option of changing the drill head to a normal drill bit the HILTI has hammer and switch button to drill use for normal drilling. The only draw back this drill model is some years old.
  7. Finally I have asked to do a day work experience, free of charge if they wanted No one has taken my offer ! They say there insurance would not cover me ! I asked a local company Limb to Limb who was in my area Failsworth,Manchester they used the above excuse. So 3 months on and No takers ! Yet if I was 16 or 21 would I be any better of ?
  8. Now we talk about youth and us being 53 ! Now last year a job came up to clear out a building ! I know what's got this to do with trees? Well I was asked to tackle the needle infested situation and was given a month to tackle the job. I filled and used 15 (12) yard skips ! I asked my son who was 22 to help his old man ! On the last day my son shouts out for heavens sake slow down ! You blow a bloody fuse! We did the job in 4 days . The contents of the skips were 500 porcelain wash basins, 300 solid oak doors which weighed a ton each heavy was not the word I can print. There was 150 fibre glass baths, 1 skip was full of taps , so u can imagine the quantity to fill a skip. We had over 600 broken double glazed units which I chopped up with a Stihl saw. Point I am getting I deem myself reasonable fit, and age isn't in my mind a issue, yes I might be slow for a tree surgeon, but I intend to do my tickets and work as a grounds man. Come rain, snow or shine I will work. What ever the tree surgeon drops I will chip it .
  9. Wish I was 21 the things I know now would of made my hair curl if I was 21 .

    My new dog.

Funny how dogs are ! My first dog bobby who died / put to sleep Easter Monday 2017 . My new dog Ziggy loves being outside, if it's throwing down he cries to go out onto patio! Very mischievous but nearly there in toilet training, keeps nicking my shoes end up under him when he's sleeping! Bobby bless him hated walking, hated the rain ! But was loved by my wife who in turned loved and cared for him, bobby was my dog at nighttime ! Why god only knows. Ziggy hates being loved! Like bobby but if I am about he sticks to me like glue ! If working in the garage whilst reloading he sits on a blanket or the floor and chews his dog biscuit or worst still one of the pallets I have in the garage. Walking duties today , near the river, yep he does a flying leap into the bloody river, I slip trying to release the tension on the lead! Head over and smack into the river, boy was it cold. We both get out , soaking wet and half mile hike home in wet cold clothes. Once home and dry , Ziggy of out onto the patio playing in the rain . I give up my pooch is addicted to water.

  25. If you are baiting , I use peanut butter spread on bait arm ! And piece of nut stuck into peanut butter, I usually run a cable to the trap like length of string or wire with dog clip on the end tether trap to location so if trap goes off it doesn't disappear!!
