Just yesterday I had an excellent experience with a gentleman with an Irish accent driving an old white transit. Got a real bargain on a brand new mattress. No doubt, no doubt. You have,I bet, factored in the jobs lost because of first appearances but your wishes to keep your look trump this. Good for you. Books ARE judged by their cover though, no need to explain that. If I went to my GP and he had a cobweb tattoo on his neck and a ring thru his nose I would rightly assume he valued his chosen image statement over his desire to project professionalism. Seriously.
