  1. What are people using these days to listen to some music on the boring trimming jobs ect? Looking for something that attaches to my helmet. Not too bothered about being able to answer calls
  2. Looking for a new head for my Hl100 and can only find the new plastic looking ones (The gears have gone in my old one). Anyone have any experience of these?? Or is it worth trying to source a second hand older type?
  3. Still haven’t found a suitable machine. If anyone sees anything please let me know
  4. Wouldn’t sell me PL on its own for work involving climbing for the obvious reason of needing someone for aerial rescue. If it’s all ground based work you should get a cheaper price that excludes EL
  5. Cheers mate, but the link doesn’t work [emoji107]
  6. Cheers for the offer but looking for a Timberwolf
  7. Same as me regarding turnover. Tree surgery insurance covers me for PL and EL for roughly £500 a year. Just basic cover for my evening/ weekend work
  8. Looking to by a TW 125. If anyone knows of someone selling please let me know
  9. Anyone else find water comes through the armpit zips during heavy rain? The rest of the coat keeps me dry but always have a wet patch on my tshirt down my side Any ideas of how to waterproof a zip? Not too bothered if I have to seal it shut if it will stop water coming in
  10. Anyone adapted their loadhandler to fit a tailgate with the two latches on either side (Like photo). Very interested in buying one but all the pics I’ve seen it only fits the tailgates with the central handle
  11. Sounds too good to be true for me. Will be very jealous if I’m wrong though...
  12. Cheers guys. Looks like I’ll give it a go
  13. https://www.roughtrax4x4.com/soft-tonneau-cover-mk6-vigo-single-cab.html This was the one I was thinking of getting.
  14. Thinking of buying a cover for my single cab hilux and like the look of the sheet with bungee ties and rain bars. Anyone had any experience? Are they worth the money? I want something that can be easily removed as I won’t be needing it every day
  15. On the look out for a new rope. Been using yale blue tongue 11.7mm and found it really good. Was planning on getting the same unless anyone has any better suggestions?
  16. Rope guide it is then! Cheers for your responses
  17. Recently lost my pulley saver and need to replace. Is the rope guide any better? Both seem very similar to me but rope guide is a little more expensive? Any feedback appreciated
  18. Any recommendations for public liabilityinsurance for someone that takes on a little weekend work now and again? I subcontract mon-fri but starting to get a little Saturday work of my own in. Haven’t got loads ok kit, few saws, blower, climbing kit ect, just want something to cover my ass if the unthinkable happens
  19. I’ll give it a try in the morning. I’ve only owned it 4 months from new so wasn’t expecting any problems from a new machine
  20. My blower fires from cold and idles fine but as soon as trigger is engaged it bogs down and dies. Anyone have any ideas on a simple fix before taking it back to the shop?
