  1. "Yes. Stop hiding behind details. That bloke over there kicked those children to death. Which foot did he do it with? **************** off."
  2. Does 'Full Fact' have a default setting I wonder "IF story contains Daily Express, AND Richard Tice but NOT Diana = False" ?
  3. aahh, right so you arn't taking ownership of your Tory vote that brought about the mass immigration experiment that they dabbled in then and the subsequent rise in migrant channel boat crossings of their Brexit policies? Both of which you voted for with a Tory vote.
  4. That's my point for the hard of understanding. No small boats under the Blair / Brown government. The Cameron / May/ Johnson / Truss and Sunak governments they increased in numbers... which are the governments you voted for... so as to my first point this morning "That's not quite believable" that you will put blame where it lies. All I am seeing from your recent posts is that the small boat crossings have nothing to do with the Tory governments - you voted for - or Brexit - you voted for - but all to do with the current government. So to my point, if you are unable to acknowledge this what is the chance that a failed Reform government JohnsonD will fess up and blame them?
  5. However, the Tory Party - who you voted for in the relevant elections - didn't foster the small boat crossings at the last election did they? So there you go, apportion blame where it needs to be.
  6. That's not quite believable. When the Tory Party (who Johnson D'Senior Dating voted for) policies created migrants crossing the channel in small boats, following the incessant bleating of Farage, the Labour party are currently getting the blame. No small boat channel crossings under the last Labour government. Suspect MarkJs insinuations that JohnsonD will blame someone else for Reforms potential failings is spot on.
  7. Oohh, nearly brought it back to a discussion and then off to assumptions again. Oh well.
  8. 'Myra' as in starting a conversation, perhaps 'Myra is very ill'... rest of conversation would continue to be 'Myra who?' where as you might start one 'Did you see Boris has had another child'... next line would be 'really, with his trophy blond wife number 4?'.. we'd generally know who 'Boris' is and no clue who 'Myra' is. Likewise "I see Tony has flown out to the middle east again"... I'd be asking 'Tony who?' See what I mean? Not brilliant examples cause using their first names only doesn't happen
  9. If you want to find that out, read the post I wrote. .... senior dating .... Though Leonardo Di Capriol was a bit of a surprise considering his environmental opinions are at odds to the ones you publicly push, and he has a social heart with a bit of giving to good causes and the needy.
  10. Ahhh, so that is the end of discussion, nothing to add, so back to insults, assumptions and insinuations.
  11. Internet adverts are generally parasites on what you search for. Sorry but JohnsonD might have a point except the adverts were posted in The Daily Express: Truth, honesty and openness in all its reporting you'd expect it's adverts to follow the same high standards and not lie with the advert feeds it shows being at odds with the cookies it reads and ad servers it links to.
  12. It wasn't an argument, it was an observation. In use, first names: Boris, Rishi (In fact 'Dishi Rishi'), The Donald, Surnames: Starmer, Biden, Reeves... easily observed in the threads in this forum. Fact is first name use makes them more personable and approachable despite the person behind the name. You might have wondered why shop staff with name tags often only have their first name? makes them 'human' and the customers are more likely to react favourably instead of aggressive. Well known psychological thing. Same with politicians, the ones you want to make cuddly, Boris, Rishi, Donald, you use first names, the ones you want to demonise, Starmer, Biden, Blair, is last name use... as I said you can observe this on this forum - even if you didn't know the psychology behind it you are still following it. Here is a thing to try next time you are out quoting, "Hi I am Gareth, you phoned me about the tree", and "Hi I am Mr Marshal, you phoned me about the tree" (sorry, having to fill in the blanks for 'M' - not important).. and see which conversation is more chatty and leads you optimism about a quote being accepted. There you go, simple psychology for the night that might lead to better prospects when out quoting. --Edit-- and if you want to take that further, there are some name that are more approachable than others, some more disagreeable than others if you want to go as far as change you name for the sake of a few ££ in a quote
  13. Subtle difference in investment bank and retail banking group.
  14. Pretty sure it was the Blair, Brown and Thatcher governments.
  15. Exactly this. Johnson (The Boris) was a bit needy, wanted to appear all cuddly so he 'forced' the media into 'Boris'. Before that politicians were referred to (correctly) by their surnames. Boris, your pal, first name terms. Good old Nige. Then when they are baddies you get the surnames again, Starmer, Reeves, Biden, Shipman (read through the posts in the various political threads if you want to see the examples). Mostly the right (errr, wrong) side of politics refer to their politicians by their cuddly, friendly names and refer to the rest with their surnames. They are all, however politicians, nothing in their make up is cuddly and nice, they are all the same breed, same self serving backstabbing self obsessed individuals (very few exceptions). Only difference is some try at least to do good by society, where as the rest have stopped their pretence and are only out to feather their own nests at all costs (here Trump and Farage are prime examples of that). Cuddle non threatening name to hide their true colours.
  16. I think it is more the traces of cannabis they were having problems with.
  17. Slow news week so we get the good stories: Haribo recalls sweets in Netherlands after cannabis found UK.YAHOO.COM Candymaker Haribo has issued a product recall in the Netherlands after cannabis was found in a batch of its Happy Cola gummies. Authorities are seeking to determine how the...
  18. I reckon a coal man with a bigger truck.
  19. Think I allready said that, the coal man.
  20. So it's nothing to do with this Labour government at all then?
  21. 65,000 jobs, all under the Labour government, in the last 12 months?
  22. Very similar to the Nigerian Princes scams leaving you a billion million dollars. Where ever the wages are low enough that a tiny hit rate will pay a living wage.
  23. it would be a fecked up world where peoples actual real time safety relies on a dottery old man with a loosening grip on his marbles.
  24. Mostly because the idiots on twatter and linkedin will be saying it was a terror incident and that the police withholding the information is proof of that if they didn't. So they released the basics. Remembering that this was the same police force that withheld the Southport attackers details which saw the Southport Mosque being attacked by the angry mob on account of a rumour. They are having to look at the world being populated by idiots manipulated by Twatter and Linkedin. Though Sime42, I reckon they will do the same on an assessment with a case by case basis.
  25. That's the interpretation of the written law, though the law makers update the laws as necessary if case law does not do as they want (which is the fault of the law makers for not describing the law properly first time round of if society changes). The judges aren't making the laws and if they aren't fit for purpose they can repeal them either.
