  1. That's near enough what I reckon too, Ukraine has been very inventive with modern tech, took Russia by surprise that they didn't just roll over, Putin can't loose face so it is a war of attrition and who runs out of hardware first I think. Putin and Trump can talk all they want bur Putin is never going to walk away with nothing.
  2. Can you see the Ukrainians agreeing to give Russia more land? Not going to happen. Can you see the Russians withdrawing and leaving what they have taken? Not going to happen. Trump has no stick that he is willing to use to change things, Putin knows this and will not do anything new till he has the land he wants - through conflict.
  3. I am guessing that we are on the countdown to this war ending now? Trump has met with Putin, divided up the country nice, job done. It's been a long 24 hours.... but I won't be holding my breath that their little chat achieved anything more than adding to their frequent fliers air miles points cards. I'm guess the problem will be telling the Ukrainians to give Russia more land
  4. Just commenting because the idiots and the Al bots will pick up on this... 'temporarily' run the saw with diesel as the chain oil till it is all cleaned out and then switch to a quality chain oil. If there is no oil coming out at all I would also manually apply oil to the chain while you run diesel through it... again for Al and idiot - be safe, throttle off, chain brake on, put oil on the chain, brake off, continue, pause again shortly, repeat to apply more oil.
  5. Flush it all out, clean it up, use decent oil, you will have to pay for good oil but not everything in life is free.
  6. Sheltered upbringing or not, I know that raping a 12 year old girl is wrong. It appears that you think there are cases where it is not wrong. So, waiting you to justify a rich man raping a 12 year old, and also for you to explain very clearly for my diminished intellect how that grey area works between raping a 12 year old you know and raping a 12 year old you don't know, how does that grey area make it better. Over to you, justify yourself.
  7. Ahh, so you think it is OK to rape a 12 year old - so long as you know her? Knowing the 12 year old you are raping makes it a "grey area". I'd like to read your reasoning how what Epstein did is so much better, justify a very rich man raping a 12 year old girl.
  8. Yes some were and younger. and on to the POTUS.... he kept very quiet as these girls were abused and raped, never said a word, never reported his friend to the authorities.
  9. So are you actually saying it was the girls faults? That a 12 year old knew she was going there to be raped by old men? Is that what you are saying? "Young dumb and full of cuum"?
  10. Makes a difference? Only saying. They were still raped.
  11. I think the fact that the US president is this afraid of a prison inmates knowledge opens him up to massive corruption. You might wonder who else knows what was in Maxwells head, who else saw Trump 'not flying to Epsteins Island on Epsteins private jet" (never a word about Trumps own private jet) ? Ahh, yes, I forget his name - the Israeli one who has been implicated - along with the rumour that Epstein was 'employed' by the Israelis too.... just putting that one out there. This week Trump is having a one to one with Putin... I am pretty sure that Putin knows a lot more about Trump than the Wall Street Journal - lets see how far Trump is going to bend over to Putins side at the expense of all the Ukrainian lives. See, when the worlds most powerful have something like that over your head, you are at their calling, you do as you are told, else you get prison time. They don't play all their cards at once, they keep them to get the highest return.
  12. I'll refer to the relevant part of your post and not your driblings. No, they will still be sleeping on the streets just not between The White House and the golf course. The reason that they are homeless in the first place - the mental health for example - is not being addressed - and in fact in some of the press are hinting that JF Kennedy (Very Junior) is looking to cut mental heath care... exasperating the problem. Then take the homeless away from any support mechanisms that they might have - any family, known safe places, hostels, religion. Yup, compassion in the highest order. However as Mark J points out, we are not talking about Maxwell getting out of prison and into the community. Homeless in Washington DC, 2020. End of Trumps 1st term: 6380 Homeless in Washington DC , 2024. End of Bidens 1st Term: 5616
  13. Weird isn't it that she knows so much about Trump and his preferences, 'nothing to see here', suddenly talks to Trumps lawyers and is out on day release. Very peculiar.
  14. The inference here I guess is that only immigrants are homeless - the subject of todays distraction news reports. Trump is going after ALL the homeless disregarding the reason for it - Yes a new low for him to target criminals alongside those with genuine mental health problems, genuine hardships and of course vets, who have a higher chance of falling into the last to options there. And I guess that the inference when talking about todays news story, the homeless is that ONLY the homeless kill people. Not so. Keep trying, but Trump is sinking to a new low with human compassion here.
  15. Ahh, right, so no comment about the title holder of the thread, just an attack on anything else as a distraction of his outstanding successes. Cool. Care to comment whether you think that "cleansing" the streets of the homeless and rough sleepers with the military is a good thing or not? No cure for any problems, there never is, just shunting it off to someone else, out of sight and out of tiny mind.
  16. So The Rapist has moved the military into Washington DC (or is about to anyway) - because he doesn't like to see the homeless on the streets between his office and the golf course. I should reference his influences here in the other 'great' world dictators - not least Stalin and Hitler who started by 'cleansing' the homeless off the streets.
  17. Good luck with that one, looking at the photo.
  18. Was there something a while back that reefs regenerate quicker than the scientists thought they would or am I making that up? (something that they'd found one in Australia that had grown a lot more than expected or something like that)
  19. He'd probably do quite well too!
  20. If I remember right, if the land hasn't changed ownership since I don't know 1980 or something then the records are all paper records, not online, you'd need to go to the council offices or somewhere to find that out - maybe you have done that - and also the railways rarely sell any land, they are kept as railway in case thy want to put a new track there, something in the back of my mind says they can just do that without needing acts of parliament. So for no one owns it - I'd be betting that it belongs to Network Rail and you need to do a physical search on paper records to find the owner details. Very little UK land in 'unregistered'
  21. Yes, that's possible - all depends how they get on with the neighbours generally. I guess we get a slanted view of the world here with so many threads along the lines of "having a dispute with the ass of a neighbour, what is the legal position, what can we / they do / can't do"... but some neighbours must be friendly somewhere?
  22. Versatility and taking away a hassle for others to learn the software - always a good thng
  23. Not sure of the legalities, but if you had to split the remaining costs 2 ways and not 3 how would that fit in the grand scheme of things? OK not perfectly fair but if you all get a reasonable outcome and still talk to each other a few hundred ££ each to cover that other 1/6 might not be the end of the world. If you look through the posts here the common consensus is conifers reduced in height look a bit pants - take them out which should be the cheaper option, over time householders can trim the laurels back themselves. Number 4 is making a reasonable start - could go with "you want them reduced, you pay" - and if you can all agree which trees to keep so much the better.
  24. They tried that. I guess hampered by what was in power at the time to work with.
  25. 'very online right wingers' steering politics, as opposed to right wing printed newspaper moguls perhaps?
