  4. Stoooooop! Talk to rob.d at Chainsawbars.co.uk Before you drill a very expensive mistake. Definitely not 1 or 2. [emoji106]
  5. Quoted a job last week, Client has had "her team" Of guys doing her mature oak and beech trees. On £300 a day total Dropped, cut up with a 12" Saw and left at the bottom of a 70-100m steep muddy incline. Now she thinks she's going to make a fortune selling all these logs.... blacklisted. ?????
  6. Got one tree job lined up next week and a firewood delivery. That's it. Financial help for self employed and renting? Yeah 2 weeks of SSP, about £180. I'll be applying for shelf stacking shortly.
  7. You could push to 48" with a full skip or hyper skip. Yeah you're right about the weight of my setup, it's takes two of us to lift it. [emoji106]

Yeah, can still be found on fleabay. 044 are great but have crap AV. Mate of mine just bought one for tinkering/porting. [emoji106]
  10. Get an Alaskan mill? Bit of woodwork? Sounds like an opportunity! Best of luck mate [emoji106]
  11. Why are you buying 4 stroke alkylate and 2 stroke oil? Buy pre mixed. I use stihl 2 stroke motomix in all my kit. [emoji106]
  12. Ahhhh, love you stubby [emoji106]
  13. What!!!! How long to clean the chain after sharpening??? Oil and water emulsion with grinding filings in it won't do your bar any good. If you just touch the tooth with a grinder until it sparks then lift 5mm For half a second the air flow cools the tooth. I get about 5-8 hits per slight worn tooth, or about 10-12 to change the top plate angle from 15-0 degrees. Yes it takes a long time, but very good results. I have to regularly sharpen 50"+ chains free hand so I do this a lot. Nice shotgun btw stubs [emoji106]
  14. If they are carbide tipped, you can't sharpen that with steel. If you've got a proper bench grinder you can take the teeth back behind the hardened crap to soft metal. Or as I find it's only one or two teeth on a huge chain I just grind them off. [emoji106]
  15. That makes no sense whatsoever? Alkylate petrol would not effect compression in that way. Interesting.... [emoji848]
  16. My mistake, It's not from the doctors, But a source in London bring prepped for tomorrow's lockdown in London. Apparently.
  17. Not if your powerhead is any good, but may be useful with extremely hard wood. Hyper skips about 10-15 but I'll gradually grind that to 0 degrees. [emoji106]
  18. Drop it, mill it, build a bench and table to put next to the newly replanted cedar. [emoji106]
  19. Got this last week for plinking. [emoji106]
  20. My wife works fir two nhs doctors. She texted me this morning from work.
