  1. Clamp em tight, I've never had one slip yet. I use a 261 or 661 as a crosscutter and either 661 or 880 for milling. The wear on the machine when milling is pretty harsh. The larger cc machines have chunky phat components, much more durable. When you do finish a cut, keep the saw running to cool it down, and oil the chain, medium revs for bit then just ticking over for a few mins. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. Eddy I'm sure the horse you're wielding in your photo weighs more than a 660 [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. As above. I used a 440 when starting. It worked, but really you need an 050/051/066/088 Etc 90cc minimum I'd recommend. I've got a couple of old muscle saws if you want a cheapish, big saw. Plenty of big saws on here for sale too. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  7. I started out with plywood and threaded bar too. Get a large cc saw. You'll melt the 260. Mills are £60,£70,£80 from royston. A decent chain grinder will be on your xmas list too. It's all about the depth gauges and perfect teeth. Good luck [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Yeah, I use Chinese mills all the time. I've used granberg in the past and apart from price, almost no difference. Same materials. The cheapest place to buy one is "Royston resources" They do 25",36" and 48". Bought all 3 for less than a granberg. It's the saw and chain which will make a big difference. Wouldn't touch a Chinese saw though. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. Glue fine sandpaper on both sides of the clamp. I've done that on plywood mills. Works ok. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  14. Ok matelot. I'll explain. Murdering innocent people is wrong. In this country, you are responsible as an individual. It doesn't matter what group you "belong to". If you can't tell the difference between a Muslim, a terrorist and a nazi.... Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
