  1. Thats in the US, how relevant is that to the UK I dont know?
  2. Kinetic Splitters look crap. Either get a regular petrol splitter or use your maul.
  3. My property runs along a stretch of road that’s maybe 100m in length? I own right up to the road itself.
  4. Thought provoking vid for the pro-child murders amongst us
  5. I’m not sure if you’re referring to me since you seem to struggle with the concept of the quote button. Sometime you use it then you don’t, perhaps this is a rhetoric rant?
  6. Yes, I oppose the murder of unborn babies.
  7. Did Mr Harris sound that much better to you than Andrew?
  8. As far as I’m aware there is no free school meals for anyone in the the Norwegian Education System, certainly not in primary school. Every single kid takes in a simple packed lunch. There is also almost Stazi-like health personnel patrolling the school (I can’t remember their official title) looking out for even the most remote form of abuse, physical evidence or an overheard comment. And the Norwegian System will without a doubt remove the children from the parents care if there is the slightest of evidence the parents are not looking after their children. What we have here is the exact opposite. Each successive generation is pandered to a little more. And it’s the children who suffer the abuse. The Band-Aid needs ripped off swiftly. Perhaps there will be a generation of affected children but each successive generation will be better cared for and will actually have a chance at life, like I see in Norway. It works in Norway, it can work here. The very people in the UK who say “think of the children” are in fact suggesting the opposite in allowing this abuse and downward spiral to continue and escalate. And since it’s so well established in Norway no one who suggests or agrees with their line of reasoning can be accused of being right-wing since we are repeatedly told how left-wing and socialist Norway is.
  9. Perhaps it’s because these worthless parents are already being handed money to pay for the dragging up of their spawn including all their meals? If even then they refuse to feed their children and their only decent meal a day is a free school lunch then in my eyes that’s child abuse and these children should be taken into care. There is no accountability at all. Neglect and child abuse is rewarded not reprimanded resulting in another generation of feckless idiots who will repeat the process.
  10. So says your mate. 🙄 “A man down the pub told me” has more credibility that what you’re spouting.
  11. That obviously includes the cost of the cooking staffs wages, pensions, cleaning, computers etc. the amount that goes on the food would most likely be under 30p
  12. At your age it might just be forgetfulness.
  13. No no, just that what you are claiming sounds dubious.:)
  14. Timber Framers use green wood/Oak. These structures last 3-400 years and still look good but more importantly do the job they where designed to do. When I think of a gate I envision a Suffolk 5 Bar or something close to that. Wasting time and effort seasoning the timber first seems pointless to me. A good mate of mine is an Oak Framer, some of his builds is (in my opinion) are breathtaking, it’s one of the reasons I started messing around with wood. He builds green gates and pumps them out regularly. His own extravagant gates are green oak. They have been in 5 years now. I’ve started taking what is seen as gospel here with a good measure of salt. M&T T&G gate I’d give the oak a year to acclimatize. Seems like a fussy gate.
  15. When are you going to build it? This year or next? Gonna plane the boards or keep them off the saw? Personally I’d build the gate green unless there’s some M&T involved. If you can build it green and plan on planing then just mill a few mm over on each side. Even if there is some T&G involved for an outside gate I’d still build it green.
  16. Will keep that in mind. Not sure what happened with the 2000 coins I bought earlier but they have taken them back and left me this odd “debt”. Sounds a bit fishy to me?
  17. No, never bothered. Had to much to pay for lately. Not sure if the current market means that was a benefit to me or I’ve missed out?
