  1. And !! You think the French are playing ball or are they happy to just move them along. Straight from beach to Rwanda 👍imagine the bleeding heart liberal howls of outrage. I’ll give you a positive Eggs, for years the firm we use to mob/demob vessels was made up of a predominantly Eastern European team with jock foreman, since Brexit we are seeing the mix change to incorporate local lads doing apprenticeships etc, speaking to the contract manager of the fabrication outfit concerned he stated 100% if they could they’d go back to running with agency personnel on an adhoc basis. Far far cheaper and thus a higher profit margin. “ just as it was for years ie zero investment in skills of our own people.
  2. There’s you like a bitch in heat again Dempsey, “ Suckers” ffs your track record over the past two years would definitely say you are prone to gobbling shit on an industrial scale ( Hiding behind your moonbat comment) . Actually, I’d happily back the UK to be part of the common market etc, it’s the other ever bigger more intrusive superstate no borders bollocks that resulted in Brexit. Hence the sensible words comment. Currently post covid farce and mid Ukraine conflict, the Brexit thing has indeed done little of what it might but it was at the end of the day a democratic decision. There will be a general election at some point, for those who ain’t happy that will be an opportunity to show it.
  3. EU splits open as Hungary, Italy and Poland call for bloc reform | World | News | Express.co.uk WWW-EXPRESS-CO-UK.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG Sensible words I’d say.
  4. The latter part in particular of your post is 100% correct Andy. I’ve seen it since the 41% at 43k increase and now up to 42% plus C4 NI 🤔” no thanks” rather than pay 51% of my wages to the snp/green lgbtq+, nanny state I’ll take the foot off the pedal trip wise and stay at home more ( I know from my own circles I’m not alone in this) . They will learn the hard way that there is a limit to how far you can squeeze people. I’m pretty sure the idea of a fit, healthy, aspirational, personally responsible population terrifies most politicians
  5. Man ‘facing £7,000 energy bill’ after heat pump switch WWW-INDEPENDENT-CO-UK.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG Steve Mason, 58, spent thousands on the new system and says he has seen his bills rocket despite his... Bit like the drive to buy diesel vehicles a few year back, or all kids go to uni etc etc
  6. Spain becomes second European country to introduce Covid checks on passengers from China APPLE.NEWS Several countries have introduced fresh Covid checks after China lifted its stringent zero Covid... What’s the bloody point as we know the vaccines do not prevent infection or stop transmission 🤷‍♂️ Or is this China just biding it’s time and throwing out a pile of more chaos to generate another hysterical or not depending on how you look at it reaction.
  7. Sudden Russian Death Syndrome APPLE.NEWS It’s not a great time to be an oligarch who’s unenthusiastic about Putin’s war in Ukraine. Everything’s got a name nowadays 😳
  8. China’s Covid nightmare is the final proof: lockdowns were a total failure WWW.TELEGRAPH.CO.UK Sweden’s refusal to impose compulsory shutdowns has now, by contrast, been completely... 😞An excellent and very honest article. So true and yet sad because in reality it’s a bloody catastrophe that could have been easily avoided, in particular the closing of schools at the behest of the unions. At least the author has the strength of character to admit he was wrong himself. Those responsible should hang their heads in shame. Those who bought into it should be demanding answers from the aforementioned and apologising wholeheartedly to anyone who was vilified, abused and even unbelievably convicted and fined during the whole sorry show. The word Moonbat is probably more applicable to those whom were duped rather than those who used a bit of the old grey matter and simply threw in some critical thinking along the way rather than believe every line of shit they were fed.
  9. Dover Border Force official arrested — for being an illegal migrant APPLE.NEWS EXCLUSIVE 😞🤷‍♂️
  10. On a civil note Mick I had the 2 litre biturbo as a courtesy vehicle when my 3.2 was having its chassis swapped. I can’t complain in regards power or towing ability which was hands down superior to the 3.2 manual but the fuel consumption was terrible, when towing my Trakmet mill I was averaging 19mpg on a run from Aberdeen to Inverness.
  11. Russian businessman who criticised Ukraine invasion dies after falling from window of luxury hotel APPLE.NEWS A Russian businessman who criticised the invasion of Ukraine has died after falling from a... Russian millionaires critical of Putin 🤔They seem to be better at making money than they do at navigating balconies or opening widows of hotels.
  12. Lol well the adblu service required and engine no start warning just disappeared one morning on mine , latest batch of lights is akin to a sensor fault I’ve had previously but with a few more add ons. Throw in some nav and reversing camera malfunctions since it’s been back from chassis swap etc the whole lot was enough for me to flip the lid with Ford customer service. Trucks back in on 29th for another full diagnostic which is just a huge pita. My gut feeling is loom is damaged somewhere which is not unheard of with the rangers in general and in particular after the chassis swap.
  13. Energy firms hoard £2bn of customers’ cash APPLE.NEWS Direct debit payments rise even when bill-payers are thousands of pounds in credit, investigation... Wasn’t hard to find
  14. I may have griped about the last part of your post occasionally in the past 🤔
  15. Wind energy !!! The biggest most expensive stand alone mistake we are making.
  16. Trudeau vows to freeze protesters' bank accounts - BBC News WWW.BBC.COM Canada's prime minister says police will also be given "more tools" to imprison or fine... Having a system where the state or anyone can shut you down in any way shape or form is not a great idea, Canada pre covid was viewed as a model democratic state. No one ever would have imagined the above happening. That’s not conspiracy Dempsey, Trudeau went through with it over vaccine mandates, a vaccine I’d say people are more wary of now than then as the information of its side effects keep coming out.
  17. So who is that decides wether you are turned off or not ?? Bit of a worry if you need your vehicle in the morning and you wanted to be warm too during a cold night !!!.
  18. Dempsey on the bite again 🤔. Keep it up with the ridicule and Moonbat get out jibes 👍they will stand you in good stead, on another topic that you personally threw many a derisory jibe out over it’s funny how the Chinese have just about said **************** it and we in the UK ain’t even bothering publishing stats anymore, mission accomplished me thinks for now. Covid !!!! what covid, just be a good lad and pay the tab please.
  19. You think so !!, I’m pretty sure you can opt out of that Tariff. I’m happy to stick to diesel for the pick up and a log burner, until the quest for net zero is tempered with a bit of common sense or pragmatism.
  20. German Govt Wants to Remote Control Home Heat, Electric Car Charge WWW-BREITBART-COM.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG Moonbat stuff 🤔
  21. It was a reply to another members post, the guys can take the banter on here no probs regardless of how harsh it gets. Family and kids are out of bounds with zero exceptions.
  22. Xmas day do everyone a favour go and open your toys and leave people’s family out of your childish games.
  23. There’s a cure nowadays
  24. 100% with you on that Mull, I’m outa here. In the spirit of English/Jock good will Merry Xmas by the way.
  25. The whole subject makes the Brexit debate seem like a WI high tea Eggs. I saw guys actually come to blows offshore the night of the referendum.
