  1. Macleods in Tain always have some decent used scopes as does Hunters Cabin near me. There’s some nice used kit on UK Varminting too. Plenty of good alternatives out there manufacturer wise but S&B have always been a reliable consistent tool, unfortunately they don’t half hold their value. I’ve a decent bit of glass to go on in meantime so no rush.
  2. Picked up the Bergara 308 today and a new mod, initial impression are good bolt is slick, factory trigger more than ok and the stock is easily adjustable, fits me ok and I’m 6,5”. Just need to find a way to pay for another S&B PM2 without the mrs noticing 🤔. Easier said than done.
  3. You let the trivial things in life worry you that’s not good for you. I keep telling you it’s a fluid situation some days it’s 99% some days it’s 0% I don’t care I just plug it in as and when required 😌I thought everyone did the same.
  4. Who sang that boring as **************** song “ yesterday” You might not like the result Mark but at least you had a vote 8 years ago 👍, unfortunately democracy doesn’t always give you the result you want 🤷‍♂️ You have a Labour government the tories are out, let’s see how it pans out 😂😂
  5. 100% Agree on both counts, from my perspective up here the Oil and Gas extension/increasing of the windfall tax is a joke, nothing but ideologically driven spite. Oil is down in the 70ish dollar range at min hence the pump prices,of course they know that but let’s just keep the big party donors happy , Tesco, Banks, Pharma etc etc are all making more yet not subject to none of the punitive tax hits.
  6. Looks like neither of them were telling truth 🤷‍♂️
  7. They are certainly making the most of it
  8. Memphis Pang on LinkedIn: #fire #lithiumbattery #fireengineering #firesafety #ebike | 240 comments WWW.LINKEDIN.COM Most of us could never imagine what the fire of a lithium battery of an E-bike is capable of. So, here... Regarding the electric car drive and the power units/batteries I hope my DeWalt stuff never goes this way
  9. Just curious as to why you would not want to see any green spaces on your daily mind numbing commute to your place of employment in the “office “ I’d have thought being employed in an office environment every day you’d enjoy a bit of green so to speak. Me personally I couldn’t work on a daily basis in an office environment, for better or worse, winter or summer, onshore or offshore give me working outdoors any day.
  10. Well Labour driven by the ideology of envy seems to have hit the hated land owning farmers hard. Sadly the only big winners will be the mega/ factory farms generally not owned for by generations of the same family. Well done labour 👍👍champagne London socialists in 97 and again in 24. 11. Don’t forget the extra HMRC enforcement officers to enforce the ever more complex tax code, a nice increase in the interest rate too if you are struggling to pay your tax bill. You can tell we have a government for the public sector with zero clue or experience in the private sector. A non sustainable spend borrow tax fest is what labour is gonna create. Pretty sure that’s happened before mind 🤔
  12. Christ 🤷‍♂️An increase on private jet tax 🤷‍♂️that’s what interested you did it. Two of the most profitable things to get involved in are war and Illness 42. Regards Covid I’m pleased it happened under the previous administration that’s all I can say. We’d still be in lockdown otherwise, I do recall labour fighting every attempt to open up and get on with life.
  13. Pathetic
  14. I think SP is working along the lines of I’ve made a twat of myself earlier so I’ll just keep spouting shit in an attempt to deflect from the previous FU. 🤷‍♂️who knows but it’s defo just garbage.
  15. What crap are you waffling, as long as he’s better than you at maths I’ll be happy. I don’t know 🤷 f you are employed or self employed but if you are the latter you will know the level of admin and BS is nuts. We definitely don’t need more pointless shit to deal with.
  16. No money in that for pharmaceutical companies 42 Suprised you ain’t grasped this yet even after the covid farce cash bonanza era.
  17. SP like I said earlier its how you react to a mistake that counts. Stop trying to dig yourself out of a hole. You are talking shite The amount of red tape and administrative bs involved already are horrendous.
  18. Rubbish Private mileage is already discounted. More accounts to do more BS more civil servants to pay etc etc etc Keep it simple stupid.
  19. That’s a good lad 👍👍 Christ I bet that hurt like a bitch 😂😂😂 Cant make those type of basic schoolboy errors SP when you are self employed or running a small business,😞 jokes aside we all make the odd mistake or typo 🤷‍♂️. It’s how you deal with that counts.
  20. Gareth when they come up with a pick up I can buy for the same price as a diesel that does a similar range and has matching performance I’ll be in the dealership. Equivalent hybrid ranger to my 3.2 wildtrack is nearly 80k with a lesser spec all round. That’s before I even think of the power cuts we often experience up here. Mind you I do have a back up diesel generator 😂 Anyway I’m still waiting for the explanation of those amazing numbers SP posted. Not much response which is strange seeing as he’s normally in rabid dog mode with my posts.
  21. Anything on those figuresSP 😂😂
  22. I think I’ll cope with it.
  23. Which to be honest, at the worst case estimation 15p / mile and take off the approximated 6p / mile petrol duty, 20,000 miles would give an extra bill of about £200... In the grand scheme of things, not a lot. Zero rate the car tax and that drops to maybe £100? Drive only a few hundred miles year and you'll be better off That 15p is the worst case, there are a whole range of costs quoted from 1p up to 15p Explain these figures again SP
  24. Labour is here for working people? Don't make me laugh APPLE.NEWS The Government will come to regret these tin-eared choices Doesn’t even need any explanation
  25. Southport attack suspect charged with possessing Al-Qaeda material and making poison ricin APPLE.NEWS Police confirmed the Southport stabbing is not being treated as a terrorist attack, despite the new... That’s a link I could copy for you SP the others were just old school screen grabs. Fancy that eh radical Islam and bloodshed in the same sentence 🤔
