  1. 🤔Did you read that I wonder before posting it 🤷‍♂️that’s full on embarrassing stuff SP from what is supposed to be a grown man Still no answer because im a bit busy tonight SP milking the renewables tit. Have a poll 😂😂you reckon eh, Christ what a sad bugger, honestly how many times you been asked what you do for a living and blatantly avoid answering 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️!!. Vanity van 😂😂😂what a joke you are SP. Not that it will make any sense to you but on average I’ll do 120 -150 days offshore. Last year it was a total of 54 days of milling for myself and others plus all firewood deliveries and general to and fro to storage yard maintenance on mill etc etc . You genuinely don’t have a ****************ing clue what you are talking about. Stick to the office and the train. Do those pics look like it’s a working tool or a toy you daft sod. That pick up has had the shit kicked out of it for over 100k miles easy 60% with a trailer on its arse.
  2. Absolute BS from an anonymous man who commutes to the office by train once again making up nonsense.
  3. 😂😂still obsessing over your fantasy salary figures I see.
  4. Your ignorance of most topics you post on is absolutely staggering
  5. lol whilst you support chasing said little man 🤷‍♂️ when have I ever said the massive corporations should not be taxed 🤷‍♂️
  6. Ive not had a salary since I left the armed forces, you just make up these absolute BS numbers day after day on here yet will not allude to what you do other than you commute on a train to the office 🤷‍♂️. I earn every ****************ing penny and have posted enough pics on here of my pick up working that plus the 100k plus mileage would lead anyone other than a total prick to realise it’s not a “ vanity van”. You see that sawmill SP it weighs just under 3400KG it was quite a substantial financial investment I worked long and hard to buy it plus the generator to power it. Getting ****************ed over by left wing tossers with a similar mindset as you is never gonna bring growth to any economy.
  7. Loophole for what mark 🤷‍♂️ Those who took the piss “ a minority imo” will just change to something else, those who need them will be ****************ed over 🤷‍♂️how does that promote growth. I would bet that the tax take they fantasise about getting will be a fraction of what they imagined. All that will happen is people will end up running either more or totally unsuitable vehicles or taking a massive tax hit. 👍👍. They say you get the government you deserve and by god this bunch of clowns are up there with the worst ever. Like I said to Mick its surprising the support for such BS from a what I presumed would be a predominantly self employed membership. 🤷‍♂️
  8. I’d suggest a trip to rural Aberdeenshire SP or for that matter any other rural community then you can open your eyes and see pick ups working for a living. That comment is pure and utter nonsense, you talk about your daily train commute to the office yet are spouting fantasy figures about DC pick ups and referring to them as “ vanity vans”, as for hire in as and when 🤷‍♂️😂 DC pick up hire shop on every corner where you live I take it. It’s classic envy politics with you, as long as someone else is getting shafted you are happy.
  9. 😞 work harder charge more 🤷‍♂️excellent, contradicting totally what you post elsewhere. Those making up this shite have zero business experience and are being chauffeured around in taxpayer funded 4x4 range rovers in the middle of London. That pic sums up labour perfectly, drag down not build up. Hound those who want to get on, whilst doing nothing to help anyone. Tax people with >£10m in assets more, you know, actual wealthy people, not just people who make good coin supporting their family
  10. Absolute garbage You live in fantasy land
  11. That’s not really a common scenario Mick imo and even if it was who gives a shit eh 🤷‍♂️, like I say at around 30mpg you pay to drive them anyway. my mrs hates driving my Ranger as it happens. Like I said to stop some abusing the system they have battered everyone.
  12. I wasn’t even aware they did a king cab wildtrack in 3.0 A 3.0 DC Wildtrack was on the cards in June but no chance now. £10k hit if I did 🤷‍♂️
  13. King cab Wildtrack ? Mick I’m not much different ie I’m on 2nd Ranger and done the Navara and a 2 seater hilux prior to that. I can understand the angst at people taking the piss but many have a totally justified reason for owning them. The convenience factor will be missed ie the ability to get out in shite weather up here or pick up kids etc if I’m passing on way home rather than doubling back with a car. It just seem like yet another hit on the working man. What’s hard to fathom is the support it has on here from people who I’d presume are predominantly self employed. Let’s face it they get enough revenue off anyone driving them with the sub 30mpg figure for starters. Let’s see if they come after all of them next eh including king cabs.
  14. “perfectly adequate king cab” Maybe to you Mick, not to a lot of people I’d imagine especially if you need to take more than one passenger. Out if interest what king cab you gone for ?
  15. Meanwhile back in our land UK growth forecast for this year halved, chancellor says APPLE.NEWS The Office for Budget Responsibility has halved the UK growth forecast for 2025 from...
  16. Using a sledgehammer to crack an egg is never the best idea Mick That is undoubtedly happening in some cases but not in the majority I know including myself. The way they have done it hits everyone regardless if your need is valid. In fact those who stick with them out of necessity will get hammered the most, not exactly a recipe for economic growth.
  17. 😂😂😂I knew you’d bite 😂😂 Strange how it’s only me who you think does that You never comment on any of the numerous ATL pics that have been posted lately 🤔 Anyone would think you are biased SP Anyway you want to be careful lad, late nights a daily commuter grind on public transport to the office, you will be as much use as tits on a bull if you keep posting at that time of the day. Sneaky little post whilst you nipped to the toilet was it SP 😂😂😂
  18. UK sitting on £150bn of oil & gas that could power country for next 25 years APPLE.NEWS Around 40 per cent of the UK’s energy is imported BRITAIN is sitting on a glut of oil and gas that... You’d have to be a special kind of retard to shut down our own fields and still import what we will need for decades to come. That level of stupid is very hard to justify.
  19. These Americans are obviously just not listening to the ATL 😂😂😂you guys need to cry louder it would seem.
  20. #energysecurity #smarttransition #globalreality #ukpolicy | David Sheret | 11 comments WWW.LINKEDIN.COM The Energy Reality the UK Can’t Ignore This morning, CNOOC, one of China’s offshore energy... The reality rather than the fantasy
  21. Lies SP for the umpteenth time. The earnings obsession is yours alone and explain how do you go about “bragging of your hypocrisy” ?? Net zero and Renewables are two very different things The salesmen have managed to link the two for huge financial gain and the gullible such as yourself have swallowed it big time. Just had an end of shift meeting there, Brits, Dutch, Polish, Spanish, Italian and probs a couple more nationalities , you will be pleased to know your labelling of those who work in the subsea industry who are involved in that aspect of the renewables game and have doubts about the validity of the net zero cause we’re quite amused at accusations of hypocrisy thrown around by yourself. Ok admittedly I may have portrayed you in a rather poor light when reading your post out but unfortunately it was hard not to do otherwise. Anyway enjoy your commute to the office today 👍and stop obsessing over what other people earn eh, that’s not a good way to live.
  22. Whet a load of waffle and pure nonsense SP you should be embarrassed. So you have moved the goal posts from net zero to green 😂😂 Rebranding you call it now 😂😂 I presume judging by this latest line of reasoning you must think Ed Milliband is doing an outstanding job then, that the headlong destructive Net Zero nonsense the UK is adopting is the right path. There’s only one person making a noise about what he thinks I’m earning on here and desperately trying to make something out of nothing and that’s as usual yourself SP. Me and my earnings seem to be of great interest to you, at least I’m honest about what I do for a living SP. Take a look at the attached pic SP that was the first offshore wind project I ever worked on, the shite you are spouting is just that, I base my posts on fact or often as not experiences or work history. I’ve got news for you there’s not any lads out here of any nationality at all who think that net zero is anything but madness, I guess that makes us all hypocrites in your eyes, whilst you sit smugly on your daily commute what do you think your train is made of or runs on ??? Fairy dust and dried unicorn shite
  23. I’ve been doing this before net zero was even thought of, Net Zero is utter insanity, wind farms are only any good as part of a balanced set up, currently they make huge profits for predominantly foreign companies. Solar farms I’ve no experience in and don’t think I’ve had much opinion on them. Electric cars are currently too expensive, low range poor towing capacity etc etc ie a long long way off from replacing what we currently use especially within certain sectors. How can myself doing a job for years that now has some ludicrous “ net zero “ tag somehow attached to it to soothe the gullible be classed as me being a hypocrite 🤷‍♂️your reasoning is just pure and utter stupidity.
