  1. Then don’t join the armed forces 🤷‍♂️. You mean on active service I take it ? I can assure you the first tour I did in NI as an 18-19 year old the last thing i gave a shit about was voting in any election. Just had a quick look at the stats for 16-17yr olds in the armed forces various figures between 1000-1700 🤔like Starmer really gives a toss.
  2. Easy mark you will be branded a conspiracy theorist at this rate.
  3. Saw the article earlier and just thought “ what a load of crap” . Basic maths join at 18 and you could easy be into your 20s before you get the chance to vote. I know one thing for a fact the previous war criminal labour PM was utterly detested by the vast majority or the serving and ex squaddies I knew during his period in downing st.
  4. It’s 18 to deploy on active service as well he knows. Like the SNP the reasons are he knows fine well at that age they are more likely to be left leaning and yet to be earning decent coin and paying the higher rates of income tax. The sense of disappointment once people realise things won’t be that different regardless of who’s in will be a sight to see. Hopefully Starmer does not cause the utter carnage the previous Labour savour did.
  5. Over to the covid thread and post your proof 👍
  6. Lying is what several of you have done repeatedly over in the covid thread but let’s keep that over there.
  7. A video compilation along the lines of what I put up will do fine, sooner rather than later or peds will have a stroke if he gets any more excited.
  8. 🤷‍♂️ Mind you the one industry that is doing well under his tenure is the arms manufacturing sector, plenty of blood being spilt and dollars made under Joe.
  9. No sadly we never heard anything more. Interesting finds tend to go to museums or archeological societies. We move onto the next project and very rarely any updates 🤷‍♂️ Regarding the brownings it would be great to get a serial number and identify the aircraft. Some of the guys are on the nearshore intertidal clearance at the moment. Nothing interesting so far but defo a novel way to get over the mudflats 👍 fbac7903-b9da-4604-b760-f87117699cb8.mov
  10. I’d agree Mick, it was tongue in cheek, saying that I dare say there’s a few happy people in Israel today.
  11. MPs, doctors and NHS guilty of 'chilling cover-up' as 30k infected in blood scandal, landmark inquiry rules WWW.THESUN.CO.UK POLITICIANS, doctors and the NHS conducted a "subtle, pervasive and chilling" cover-up of the "worst... I’d think there will be some very nervous people today. Fair play to May for finally hitting the start button on the enquiry.
  12. Cheers Rod Some cracking info there bud, we had to put them back on the sea bed at a wet store location. The archeological rep has got more involved in the process now. Hopefully one of other mag targets is a nice chunk of Merlin engine. Much appreciated Dave 👍 Been looking online and looks like your source nailed it 👍barrel shrouds are clearly visible in the pic.
  13. No handover with previous owner ?
  14. Shame armed response didn’t drop him on the spot. Can’t disagree with a word the guy says in the attached picture. Pure scum that are as far from being genuine asylum seekers as it’s possible to be. Hartlepool street killing of pensioner 'terrorist act' - judge - BBC News WWW-BBC-COM.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG Moroccan asylum seeker Ahmed Alid stabbed 70-year-old Terence Carney in Hartlepool in October.
  15. You do absolutely it makes a huge difference when done correctly
  16. As a few have already stated getting someone who knows what they are doing ain’t easy , that includes saw doctors. I do my own now which yields far better results. Pointless having a top notch sawmill and crap blades. Tegid does a great job, it was only the cost and hassle of sending blade’s from Aberdeenshire that stopped me just carrying o using him. His advice regards what route to take with the sharpening and setting kit I have now was invaluable. Im changing blades2-3 times a day minimum by the way, often a lot more.
  17. There’s you guys dripping about crossing over threads too. Proof 🤷‍♂️Put it over on the covid thread. One post with zero context, not a great attempt. Mind you 08/22 you been putting the hours in doing research eh you little rascal. Good few pages to get to two years ago, your nights must fly by. Wrong thread I know but is this you getting so excited that you felt it was a newsworthy item.
  18. I can remember doing reasonably ok with iron sights on the old SLR before converting to SA80. Nowadays with a lot older eyes apart from shotguns everything I own is scoped up. Be bloody pointless otherwise.
  19. 100m ? If it is that’s not a shabby group for irons
  20. Is the open bolt an RAF only thing or were all brownings in UK usage the same. I’ve seen a couple of water cooled twin aa set ups online.
  21. There’s not that much of the fine detail left Mike, if the round wasn’t in the chamber we would have been ok to break them down but health and safety et etc 🤷‍♂️ Those might help Mike, the shrouds are a bit different than what you see online. There was Anti Aircraft towers in this area during WW2 and I think that round may well be an incendiary type according to a bit of online mooching. If you have any ideas it would be interesting to know for sure what they were off.
